St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion.

Just because summer is long gone and I've stopped my weekly self-tanning routine doesn't mean I don't long for a little bit of a golden glow on my skin. That's just what I have been getting with a new product from St. Tropez called Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion. In shower, you say? Yes! This product is applied in the shower - to wet skin! And it works super fast, in just three minutes as a matter of fact.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion is a first of its kind gradual self-tanner. It is patent pending for a reason. It is applied in the shower to wet skin where DHA ( the ingredient in self-tanner that makes the skin turn brown) penetrate the skin faster so it works faster and easier. The best part is that you don't have to wait for it to try becasue you rinse it off. There is no risk of staining clothes, sheets or self-tanner smell. It literally washes away.

It really is simple to use. I get in the shower as usual then proceed with the St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion.

Step 1 - Wash as normal with any normal shower gel.

Step 2 - Turn off the shower and generously apply the St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion to wet skin. It lathers so I use it as a guide. I start at my feet and work my way up. I keep a soapy wet washcloth on the side to wash it off my palms.

Step 3 - Wait 3 minutes for the self-tanner to develop.

Step 4 - Rinse off thoroughly. Be sure to rinse all of the self-tanner off, otherwise you could end up with darker areas.

Step 5 - Blot dry.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion will develop gradually. I did not notice much color on the first day, but by day three, I noticed a light shade of color and by day five a nice golden glow. I have light-medium skin. I think this is a great solution for those with very fair or light skin or those that want a little bit of color. If you have medium or a dark skin tone, I really don't think this will develop dark enough for you.

Though this is gradual and had limitations of working on lighter skin tone,s it is honestly the easiest and most natural looking self-tanner that I have ever applied. I did not have any streaking anywhere on my body and I covered myself totally.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion sells for $25 in-store and online at Sephora, ULTA and StTropezTan.com.

The Estée Lauder 2015 BCA Campaign + Pink Ribbon Beauty Products.

It's October and you know what that means, it's Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have been a long time supporter of the Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

It's a fact that breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide, one in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime and that a woman is diagnosed with this heartbreaking disease every two minutes. Let's take action.

The Estée Lauder 2015 BCA Campaign + Pink Ribbon Beauty Products

The Estée Lauder Companies’ says that every action counts. NO matter how big or small, be it a donation, a unique post on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #BCAstrength to inspire someone who may be suffering or by simply purchasing one of your favorite Estée Lauder brand beauty products to support their global fundraising efforts -- it all adds up.  To date, the BCA Campaign has raised more than $58 million to support global research, education and medical services.

To raise funds to support their BCA campaign, fifteen of the Estée Lauder Companies’ beauty brands join together by launching special pink ribbon products that are for sale right now where proceeds of the purchase price go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. You can see all of the products here but I have a few favorites.

Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer ($20) - An eyeshadow primer is key to ensuring eye makeup locks in place all day plus it makes shadows more vibrant. I like how this shadow primer smooths away creases and fine lines too. Tip: let it dry for about 30 seconds before applying eyeshadow.

Bold Brow Must Haves.

There is one thing that has been very apparent when looking at the runway shows and when flipping through the magazines and that is bold brows. Bold brows, when not unruly or too overdone, are beautiful. To get your brows bold and beautiful, it takes the right products. Now, there are brow products and there are great brow products that get the job done right the first time.

Bold Brow Must Haves: The best makeup products for beautiful, bold eyebrows.

Now, I've talked about the best brow products for beautiful brows. If you haven't read that article, you should becasue that one shares the best tools and tips to get brows into shape. In this article, I am going to share the latest brow products that will give you those beautiful brows you see in all of the top magazines.

Top Bold Brow Products

If your brows are wimpy, you will want to start with an eyebrow enhancing serum. I like GrandeBROW to promote thicker and fuller-looking brows. Made up of a properitary blend of vitamins, peptides and amino acids plus the key ingredient prostaglandin I.C., this serum extends the length of the hair growth cycle. It comes with a special applicator brush that is designed to deliver the product to the natural shape of the brows. You apply it at night, to clean brows to thinning areas of the brows.

To fill in the brows, you can choose from powders or pencils to get the job done.

For powders, I like a few of them.

The first one that I use often is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo. This two-shade powder is smudge-proof and offers just the right amount of coverage to fill in, shape and define brows. I love the fact that there are two shades in each little compact as you can use either shade or both for your own customized color. I apply with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush #12 which has a spoolie brush on one end and a stiff angled brush on the other. It applies the powder perfectly. There are 11 duo shade compacts to choose from so literally every brow shade will be covered with this one.

The next powder I use is actually a palette just for brows, the Laura Geller Brow Sculpting Palette. This palette has three perfect products to whip brows into the bold brow shape you're after. It has a duo powder to customize the right shade of powder to fill in brows plus a highlighting powder to apply underneath the brow to lift and sculpt the brows. To set the brow, there is also a sheer wax included in the palette. I really like that this comes with a mini dual ended brush that has an angles brush on one side and a spoolie brush on the other. The palette comes in blonde, brunette and taupe shades.

For pencils, there are some old standby's that I love plus a few new discoveries that I am really enamored with. It's amazing how far in development brands have taken it in, even with an eyebrow pencil.

One pencil that I have used for a few years is IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil. This pencil comes in one perfect universal shade that adheres to the skin as you apply it. It somehow really looks like real hairs as you fill in brows no matter how thick or thin you choose to use it. It's super long-wearing so brows are bold all day long.

New and really innovative to the brow game are two that I have been testing and really liking: Urban Decay Brow Beater and Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.

Urban Decay Brow Beater is an ultra fine pencil that is double-ended with a waterproof brow pencil on one end and a spoolie brush on the other. The microfine tip and unique texture lays down the color perfectly. It's a long-lasting formula that doesn't come off until you take it off.  Brow Beater comes in four shades: taupe, neutral brown, warm brown, and dark.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil is the one I have been using almost daily. This pencil is so unique; it features a buildable formula that actually combines a powder, pencil and a wax in a mechanical pencil form. The object it to create the look of naturally fuller, defined brows in one easy step and it gets that job done quickly and easily with its unique triangular shape. You cansculpt with broad strokes using the flat edge of the pencil and fill them in with
fine lines using the pointed tip. There are nine shades to choose from, so no matter your brow color, there is an easy to match shade in the line up for you.

I also like Pixi Beauty Endless Brow Gel Pen that just launched this fall. This pencil is a creamy gel-like pencil formula that fills in brows with ease. It adheres to the skin and brow hairs and stays put. This comes in three shades that easily match a variety of brows.
