More MAC Madness with Barbie Loves MAC.

WOW!

Seems like I have earned much attention over my MAC Barbie postings - and hey, why not?  MAC and Mattel are a huge collaboration with Barbie Loves MAC - so why shouldn't everything about it be big?

So, I would like to welcome all new readers from MUA, EMMU, and Specktra.

It seems that many of you are worried that the line is all pink. And from the title of my post I Told You it was Pink, I can understand why you would even get that from me. But I am here to tell you today, while much of the line is Pink and Pink based, much of it is not.

Here are a few of the non-Pink items in the Barbie Loves MAC Collection. (which i have referred to as both the Barbie Meet MAC Collection and the Barbie Loves MAC Collection, with the later being the correct title!)

This is The Beauty Powder in Pearl Sunshine. It is a very soft peach blush/highlighter with pink pearl. It looks beautiful on it's own or over a more intense shaded blush.

This is the Lipstick in Sweet & Single and Lipglass in Happening Gal, a reddish plum with gold pearl.  The lipstick is not as pink as it looks in the picture. It is more of a plum/berry with silver pearl. On it's own, it is very sheer, but it looks more intense, and rather amazing with the Happening Gal Lipglass.

This is the MAC Powder Blush in Fab. It is a deep plum/berry color with a lot of gold pearl. A very light stroke (with a lot of blending out) is all I need on my fair skin. But it looks very rich and especially nice with the Lipstick/Lipglass combination I have pictured above.

These are a few more of the eyeshadows. Pictured from the left: Magic Dust, a soft white frosted gold; Beautyburst, a reddish brown; and Springtime Skipper, a soft light green with gold pearl. These look great together, with Magic Dust on the brow bone and the very inside of my eyelid, Springtime Skipper on the rest of my eyelid, and Beautyburst as a liner and in the crease. The Springtime Skipper is not as minty green as it looks. If it is applied very heavily, it may be, but with just a few strokes of the shadow, it is very light and pretty.

So, if you are worried that this collection is for the very young, please know, that as I am quickly approaching the big 40, I am not one of the very young - and it is perfect for me. There is something in this MAC Collection for everyone. I promise!

Be sure to check out the Barbie Loves MAC teaser on their website.
