Paint Yourself Pink!

Pink makeup = romantic makeup. And wouldn't it be nice to wear your romantic makeup on Valentines Day?

I am lucky to be fair skinned in which most pinks look nice on me. I prefer the soft pastel pinks, but I like just about any type of pink makeup. If you are not that into Pinks, take a few of my suggestions, and I bet I change your mind.

piink_lipgloss.jpgSephora has a cute line of products, entitled appropriately enough, Piink. And like they say, "The best things in life are pink". I love this lip gloss crayon ($5) in the line, especially in Milky Rose - the most beautiful shade of rose petal pink. It's ease of use in that is glides on like a lipstick out of it's chubby stick but it looks sheer and glossy and low price tag are a huge plus! I also like to use their My Miistic Shadow ($9) in Tender Pink, which is a loose powder eye shadow in pink with a hint of gold. It is in the cutest container that you dip the sponge tipped applicator into to get to the shadow.

For blushing in pink, I have a few favorites. The first is a new blush from Make Up For Ever, dandelion.jpg called Sculpting Blush ($24). It comes in 7 pink shades, but my favorite is #6, a fresh flushed pink in a satin finish.  Another fab pink is the new powder blush ($17.50) from the Barbie Loves MAC line (due out this week) called Don't Be Shy. It is just so pretty! For the cheek stain lover, try Tarte's Cheek Stain ($28) in Doll Face, the sheerest soft pink with a hint of shimmer to it.  And my good old staple in the from of pink blush is Dandelion ($26) from Benefit. With this, you just cannot go wrong.

For the lips, there is plenty of pink choices whether you want to go with a lip gloss or a lipstick. I recently tried FACEatelier lipstick ($18) in Pink Cashmere. It is the prettiest pearly mid-toned pink. If you want to add a little plump to your pink pout try Sephora's Plumping Lip Gloss ($10) in #03, a beautiful Rose with silver glitter infused. Another new favorite of mine is from Not Soap Radio. It is a Talk Smart Lip Gloss ($16) in the shade of Diane, a pure pink. And for a long lasting pucker, Tarte's Rise & Shine Waterproof Lip Stain & Plumping Gloss ($21) in Pink will do the trick. The stain sets in just about 15 seconds and simply apply the gloss over it for a finishing touch. It will last you all night!

socozy.jpgYou can always incorporate a little pink into you life with a bit of polish. Be it at your fingertips or toes, pink is always in. My favorite pink polishes are So Cozy Essie Nail Polish ($5) in Cotton Candy, Lumene's Quick & Chic Nail Polish ($4.99) in Smiling Night from your local CVS, Essie's Pinkadelic Polish ($8), OPI's Fair Dinkum Pinkum ($8), Goldie's Nail Lacquer ($9) in Pillow, Very Sexy Makeup Nail Lacquer ($9), by Victoria's Secret in Nibble, DuWop's Toe Polish ($12) in Flip Flop, Estee Lauder's Pure Color Nail Lacquer ($18) in Ballerina Pink, and Chanel's Nail Colour ($18) in Pink Satin.

Now it is time to take one of my suggestions and go paint yourself pink!
