A New View from MAC.

The last of the new collections from MAC is New View. This is the creme de la creme of them all, with the most beautiful skin softening powder that goes on light and sheer to perfect the face. While I am not a fan of traditional loose mineral foundation powders, this is a very different powder.  New View is perfect to use over a foundation or bare moisturized face to lighten, brighten, smoothe and even out - all while making your face appear to glow in soft focus.

This one is similar to the mineralize shadows of Electroflash is in they are double sided. One side is more matte, which should be applied to the whole face, while using the other more shimmery side to highlight where needed. Beautiful!

I cannot wait tot ry this. Selecting the perfect shade might be hard though. I don't know if I would go for a medium/natural or the medium/dark. Do you know how dark it is? I might be better off with the darker shade in the summer with my tan anyways.

Why do they put out some many new things out at one time - I want to buy so much of it now.

I'm a little confused. Is this in place of foundation? On top of foundation (as in mineral), or just a highlighter. Yes, I agree, so many collections to choose from, and they are all good! I preordered some Nordstroms goodies and can't wait to get them! Bought two mineralize eye shadows yesterday and they are gorgeous and rich.

Annie - I have only seen the lightest shade in person, so I am sorry that I cannot speak to how dark the dark one is.

Lisa - I ttink you can use this powder as you wish. I think it is perfect for Summer just over a moisturizer, but for those who need more foundation coverage, it would be great to use over that, as a mineral setting powder. I don't think I would use it over another mineral powder though.
