Beauty Brands: Who Owns What?

I know that a lot of the major beauty corporations own some of my favorite brands. I know about most of the Estee Lauder brands and that L'Oreal owns Lancome and about Procter & Gamble owning the likes of Covergirl and Olay, plus many more. I wanted to dig a little deeper and find out exaclty who own what, and not only was it fun, it was nice to know who owns what. It provides a bit of insight into the entire realm of the beauty industry.

I was thinking the same thing Teri! I had no idea that Benefit and MFE was owned by LVMH. I knew the Body Shop was bought out, but I didn't know by who.

I was surprised to see that Aussie is owned by P&G. Aussie is always claiming to be so environmentally friendly and they always mention how they don't test on animals and P&G is a huge polluter that performs cruel tests on animals for most of their products.
