21 Beautiful Braids.

It seems like everyone is wearing braids. With Braid Bars popping up everywhere, it is no doubt that braids are back - in a big way. From the very simple to intricate and very complicated, I am obsessed.

What I really love about braids, is that they can be done on all different lengths of hair. You can use a braid as an accent, holding back those bangs you are forever growing out, or as the complete style. I love combining a braid with a ponytail.

I have been turning to Pinterest (are you following me on Pinterest?) for my inspiration and have been experimenting. Some of these braids are self-explanatory and some require a bit of help. Luckily there are some images that are linked to easy tutorials.

Great round up of pretty braids. I have been trying to resist, but I am really liking the trend. I like the half braided pony in the first pic.
I have been doing a simple braid as an accent. When my hair is up or down too. It looks nice and I always get compliments.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a fishtail braid. I have tried on my friends and have gotten them pretty good with so many tutorials on the Internet but I cannot do it on myself. I wish there was a braid bar near me.
A loose messy side braid is my go to. I can let my hair dry by itself. I get breakfast ready, get the kids out the door and put on my makeup and get dressed. By that time my hair is dry. I can do a loose braid on one side. A little bit falls out and my natural waves look like it is supposed to do that. It saves me so much time. I don't know how much longer I can pull this off because like we all know, these trends come and go. I hope I can at least get away with it this summer.
