New from Chanel: Sublimage Serum.

One of the reasons Nicole Kidman and Marion Cotillard looked so beautiful at the Academy Awards might have had more to do than just the makeup, or the gorgeous looks.

CHANEL celebrity makeup artist Angela Levin who did their makeup for the big night says that she, loves to use Sublimage Serum to prep the face before she applies makeup.

"I always start the makeup process with an application of the Sublimage Serum. I feel it helps to create a smooth, silky and young overall look after I use the base. I usually wait about five minutes and let the serum saturate into the skin, before applying foundation."

chanel_sublimage_serum.jpgSublimage Serum is the latest addition to CHANEL's premier anti-aging cream.

When pairing the Essential Regenerating Concentrate, the lightweight, silky serum maximizes the all-around age-fighting benefits of the original cream. The perfect combination of both the serum and cream help to combat wrinkles, loss of firmness, dehydration, lack of radiance, and uneven pigmentation through CHANEL's exclusive Polyfractioning (PFA) technique.

Planifolia (extracted through this PFA process where ultra-pure ingredients are created) is the precious oil that comes from the powerful botanical fruit at the heart of Sublimage, which is now infused into the enriched Planifolia water, making for an even more powerful formula that delivers twice the concentration of the cream.

The 1 oz. airless pump full of this anti-aging wonder retails for $385.00.

As I have never used anything from the CHANEL skincare line, this looks like it would be a great product to start with. I have read glowing reviews of the Sublimage Cream, so I am sure that this is a wonderful addition to the line.

Sublimage Serum just launched last month at Chanel.com, as well as speciality stores nationwide.
