Makeup Looks from the SAG Awards.
Finally, we have an awards show. Aah - to drool over the gowns, the jewels, and the makeup at lats nights SAG Awards. Dresses of the night seemed to be in blue or silver, with some gals opting for brown. The hair - buns, and on the side. This was not my favorite look, and as I watched the red carpet arrivals, I found myself saying, not again. I wonder if a there was some sort of memo sent out saying the hottest look is the side swept bun, because almost everyone was wearing it! In the end my favorite part is indeed, of course, the makeup looks.
To simply sum up the night, the makeup looks were beautiful with smokey eyes and nude lips, with the occasional red lippie thrown in. I love the smokey eye look with nude lips, and I love to see how the various celebrities do it, so you will hear no complaints from me.
Andrea Bowen's makeup was flawless. I love how the smokey eye extended outward, making it into a bit of a cat eye look, without it being too much or too harsh. I want her lippie!
Debra Messing always rocks the smokey eye and nude lip, and it is very complimentary to her ever so fragile, porcelain complexion.
Anne Hathaway for Lancome.
The gorgeous Anne Hathaway is the newest spokemodel for Lancome. She just signed on to become the company's newest "brand ambassador" starting later this year. She will appear in print and television ads for their newest frarance, which has yet to be revealed.
"Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity," said Lancôme International president Odile Roujol. "We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance, to be launched throughout the world in September 2008."
Lancome is on a roll here when selecting beautiful faces to align with product launches. Most recently Kate Winslet was named spokemodel for the Tresor line, while Clive Owen represents the Hypnose Homme Fragrance.
Stay tuned for information on their latest fragrance, launching this fall.

Givenchy fragrance is holding an online competetion where contestants are challenged to create a slogan for their Very Irresistible Givenchy fragrance ad featuring Liv Tyler.
The 1st place winner wins a trip for two to meet Liv Tyler at her Sephora public appearance in NYC. They'll also receive a poster of the ad with their ewinning slogan, chosen by an illustrious panel of judges with representatives from Givency and Seventeen magazine. The winner will also be treated to a swag bag and lunch at the Seventeen magazine offices.
And, there are some other great prizes as well, that will be votes on by the community, as voted right online:

Bobbi Brown makes her way back to QVC tonight with some of her Bobbi Bown Cosmetic Best Sellers! She even has a few new things that will premier on the show tonight, at 7:00 PM EST, on QVC. I can't wait and will be tuning in for the hour long show full of Bobbi.
Lancome Celebrating Earth Day!
Lancôme just announced that the four Lancôme boutiques will be Carbonfree™ today, for Earth Day .
The cornerstone of the brand’s eco initiatives is a partnership with Carbonfund.org , a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about climate change and offering straightforward options for climate impact reduction. Carbonfund.org enables individuals or organizations to go "Carbonfree™" by investing on their behalf in climate-friendly projects that involve renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation.
The Carbonfund.org team will be analyzing the “carbon footprint” of the boutiques and Lancôme will be making a donation to offset those footprints. Additionally, the Carbonfund.org team will work with the boutiques to find ways to further reduce their impact on the environment. Lancôme chose to work with Carbonfund.org as it is a respected name in the environmental field and has partnered with major organizations such as the Conservation Fund.
The decision to embark on a partnership with Carbonfund.org came about thanks to Lancôme’s newest spokesmodel, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann.
