New from MAC - Dazzleglass.
No one quite does a lipgloss like MAC. Their lipglass' rank amongst some of my favorite glosses, ever. Their newest collection is a brand new collection of gloss called Dazzleglass. Like the names says, these glosses will dazzle your lips with super duper shine and a pop of color.
"High-shine + large particle quartz and opal crystal captured in a great new formula with light-reflecting, crystalline iridescence." I am sure these beauties are on the list (and soon to be lips) of many.
Sixteen shades in all:
Comet Blue
Funtabulous
Ms. Fizz
Like Venus
Baby Sparks
Money Honey
Rags to Riches
Date Night
Spanking Rich
Get Rich Quick
Bare Necessity
Steppin' Out
Glamour O.D.
Sugarrimmed
Pleasure Principal
Love Alert
These are limited edition glosses, I repeat, limited edition so grab one or two, or all of them, while you can.

Heatherette Eye Shadow Trio 1.
Looking online simply does not do many of the Heatherette shades justice. In person the Heatherette for MAC Collection has exceeded my expectations. From the hot hot-pink to the metallic fuchsia along with the holographic foil decoration of the packaging, to the beautiful shades inside the palettes, compacts and tubes.
My favorite piece of the collection is the Eye Shadow Trio 1.
The shades in this palette:
Hoppin’ Clean Pastel Peach (frost)
Mood Ring Pastel Mint Green (veluxe pearl)
Cloudburst True Black with Subtle Green Pearl (velvet)
When looking at the photo of this trio on MAC, I thought it was too bright. But I was wrong. The shades are simply gorgeous and appear much softer in real light.
I am using the peachy/pink shade all over my brow bone and eye lid with the teal shade (really, it is much more of a teal than a mint green) on the outer two-thirds of my lid. I then take my MAC 211 Brush and use the darkest black shade that has sparkles of the teal shade in it, as an upper and lower liner. It is beautiful. The sparkle is subtle, but it softens the black and brings the teal shade out more.
The Heatherette Trio's (which are back in stock over at maccosmetics.com) retail for $32.50. And if you are a gal that loves the pink and lilac shades, then you will want to check out the other eye palette, Trio 2.
Heatherette for MAC is Here!
If you are at all interested in the Heatherette for MAC Collection, run to your nearest MAC counter as soon as possible. Most of it is already sold out online. How could this be? This collection is obviously, very limited edition and highly needed by us MAC addicts.

My lovely friend Christina from eBeautyDaily went to the secret preview party back in February with the Heatherette boys. You really need to check out her experience to learn all about the collection, the inspiration, and a bit about how star struck she was to meet Traver Rains and Richie Rich.
Whether you are a good girl or a bad girl, Heatherette is tailored just for you.
Let me know what you are able to get your hands on!
MAC Beauty Powder Blush is Here!
Limited edition luxury in the most beautiful blushing shades. MAC Beauty Powder Blush is here.
In eight candy colored shades, with a pearl sheen and the finest jet milled of powder, there is a beautiful blush here for everyone. Each shade boasts a satin finish.
Shy Beauty - a pastel apricot with gold pearl
Feeling - Dirty plum with silver pearl
Sweetness - Intense blue pink
Joyous - Peach with gold pearl
True Romantic - Mid-tone pink with silver pearl
Serenely - Deep brownish red with gold pearl
Eversun - Neutral peach bronze with gold pearl
Secret Blush - Dirty neutral plum with gold pearl
Joyous is such a beautiful shade to be worn with beautiful brown and neutral colored eye shades. This one was my first pick and certainly did not disappoint. True Romantic is the perfect companion to the dark gray or blue smokey eye. I think I am most unexpectedly intrigued with Serenely and how it looks like I just took a brisk walk, yet better.
Of course, the perfect brush to apply the blush is a must-have. Choose from 169 Angled Blush Brush or 116 Blush Brush. Each one is $32 and makes applying the powder perfectly, each and every time.
Beauty Powder Blush is $17.50 per shade, and is on counter at MAC and maccosmetics.com.
MAC Strobe.
Soft, white light. Strobe lights - those flashing white lights back in the day.
The lights might have been bright, but the look always became soft and diffused. MAC's newest collection Strobe plays with the light in a similar way, giving off a pearlescent, illuminating look.
Strobe Cream, Strobe Liquid or the Strobe Lips to lighten, brighten, and enhance - with light.
Strobe Cream uses the richest, sheerest blend of soft-focus diffusers for the face and neck. Strobe Liquid gives an instant radiance in fluid, light-diffusion form with iridescent pigment. The Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick SPF15 with strobe pearl, gives off an iridescent glow with soft color. All of these can be used under or over colours and textures to glow on and on and on…
Strobe launched on counters today, and you should snatch them up fast, as they are limited edition and look to be beautiful for Spring. For more info or to order, you can always visit maccosmetics.com as well.
Sometimes, Seeing is Believing!
I was excited about the Fafi MAC Collection, sure. But from looking at the packaging and product photos, I really thought that most of the collection would not suit me. Boy was I wrong - I am loving this collection! The colors are a little brighter, yes, especially when comparing them to say the N Collection. But a little pop of color never hurt anyone. And these colors are gorgeous - and they are so getting me in the mood for Spring.
First, just look at the packaging. I am such a beauty geek, I swear. But packaging is sometimes what totally attracts me to a product. I am sure that I am not the only one who noticed that when you put some of the packages together, you get the total picture. Cool!
Then there is the shimmer in the products. I really love shimmer, especially when it is not overdone.
The top photo is of the Iridescent Powder in Belightful, a beautiful light peachy gold, with lovely shimmer. Then there is the Eye Quad #1, which are all my colors, and yes, sheer and shimmery. And last, there are my three favorite lipglasses, Sugar Trance, Totally It, and Cult Fave. I have been wearing Sugar Trance all day and have received numerous compliments, which is always wonderful.
If you have not seen MAC Fafi in person, you really need to. But make sure you bring the money, because once you see it and believe how beautiful it is, there will be no stopping you buying it all.

MAC has come up with a little sister site for MAC Fafi, which you can visit at macfafi.com. It is fun to go behind the scenes there at a MAC press event and meet the artist herself.
All of the MAC Fafi products can be found at your favorite MAC counter or store, as well as maccosmetics.com.
My daughter wants the little Fafinette dolls, so we will be sure to be checking those out, as well as the whole collection, this weekend.
Loving the Natural Look!
I am getting used to the colors from the MAC N Collection.
Initially, looking at the line, I thought that I might just like one or two of the products. But the more and more I play with the colors, the more and more I love them. Especially the lips! And the nails! And... well, I am really loving the Natural look with the N Collection!
Have You Voted in the MAC Originals Contest?
Have you been to the MAC Site to see the entries in the MAC Originals contest? I am blown away at some of the makeup looks that have been submitted.
You can view entries by newest submissions and the most popular.
I will be the first to say that I do not know how the most popular have all the points that they do, but hey, it's just my opinion!
The contest runs through the end of this month, January 31st, so if you want to submit a photo of yourself, you better get one in now. And if you do not want to enter, it is a definite must to check out the entries and vote for your favorite. I am narrowing down my choices, but as new submissions keep popping up, I may wait until closer to the end of the contest to place my vote.
If you do submit an Originals entry, please let me know in the comments with a link to your entry, as we would love to see it.
