Bobbi Brown Custom Palettes.
I am very curious about these palettes, even more so now that Julia from All About the Pretty raved about them so much when I saw her last week. Bobbi Brown knows palettes, and I think she has another winner on her hands with her newly designed Custom Palettes.

You select from a three pan or a four pan palette, both of which are mirrored, and you select from Eye Shadow, Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow, Blush or Shimmer Blush - or a combo of any - and fill up the palette.
First, I want to know where are the lip shades? Surely they are in development, as we need our Bobbi Brown Lip Color and Lip Gloss.
Another product I think that needs to be made in pan palette size is a bronzer - oh, and a concealer and powder too. That would be perfect.
Next, as I am looking to come up with my mix of shades, I notice my favorite Bobbi shades are not there. Agh - I cannot live without my Smoke shadow as I use it as my eye liner almost daily! But I suppose I could throw my single pan in separately - if I must;).
Really, this palette system is a fabulous idea as it brings us back to the basics of Bobbi Brown. I would fill up a four pan palette with shadows and a three pan palette with the blush. Each empty palette costs $10, the shadows sell for $20 each and the blush for $22 each.
I cannot wait to see what more becomes available, because if I know Bobbi, she will have all of her regular shades available and add more products for the ultimate customization.

Finally, a Visit to Space NK.
With a few hours down time during my jam packed schedule with Glam last week, Christina and I made our way to Space.NK Soho. I was so glad to have finally paid the beautiful space a visit.
Being beauty bloggers, we were in heaven with the entire boutique.. The staff could not have been more helpful suggesting new things to try, application techniques and more. This awesome sales associate (cannot find his card!) filled my bag with some awesome samples that I cannot wait to try.
The overall feel of the space is very uptown, yet light and friendly. The shelves are not overcrowded so I could reach for and smell anything. The Space.NK brand itself contained a great array of fragrant body washes, balms, perfumes, candles and more. They smelled so good.
I needed a new concealer, so I headed on over to one of the many elite makeup brands they carry. I checked out By Terry, Susan Posnick, NARS, Chantecaille, Laura Mercier, and Lipstick Queen. (They are getting Shu Uemura in a few weeks!)
I ultimately decided on the Chantecaille Total Concealer. I selected the shade Ivory as I want a concealer that could take me through my bit of a faux tan that I should be sporting soon, and Alabaster, the shade I would have normally selected, might have been to light. It has a very nice light creamy-gel like feel that leaves a wonderful finish. And a little dab is all I need. This is not just an ordinary concealer I quickly learned either. It contains a
special blend of olive oil, tamanu nut oil, light-reflecting particles, chamomile, green tea, orchid, and wild rose. Now that is something your average concealer does not contain. I really love it.
I also scooped up a gorgeous lip gloss in the shade Mimosa. It is a gorgeous golden peachy-pink shade. It is so moisturizing. I need to find a specific brush to use with it as I am afraid I am dipping my finger into the compact too often and using too much.
I am so thrilled to have discovered Chantecaille, and Space.NK was the perfect place to discover it. If you are ever in the NYC area, you need to make it to one of their two stores in the city. There is the one we went to in Soho at 99 Greene Street, and the other is on Columbus Ave. at 69th. I know you will love it as much as we did.

Heatherette Eye Shadow Trio 1.
Looking online simply does not do many of the Heatherette shades justice. In person the Heatherette for MAC Collection has exceeded my expectations. From the hot hot-pink to the metallic fuchsia along with the holographic foil decoration of the packaging, to the beautiful shades inside the palettes, compacts and tubes.
My favorite piece of the collection is the Eye Shadow Trio 1.
The shades in this palette:
Hoppin’ Clean Pastel Peach (frost)
Mood Ring Pastel Mint Green (veluxe pearl)
Cloudburst True Black with Subtle Green Pearl (velvet)
When looking at the photo of this trio on MAC, I thought it was too bright. But I was wrong. The shades are simply gorgeous and appear much softer in real light.
I am using the peachy/pink shade all over my brow bone and eye lid with the teal shade (really, it is much more of a teal than a mint green) on the outer two-thirds of my lid. I then take my MAC 211 Brush and use the darkest black shade that has sparkles of the teal shade in it, as an upper and lower liner. It is beautiful. The sparkle is subtle, but it softens the black and brings the teal shade out more.
The Heatherette Trio's (which are back in stock over at maccosmetics.com) retail for $32.50. And if you are a gal that loves the pink and lilac shades, then you will want to check out the other eye palette, Trio 2.
CHANEL Summer 2008 Makeup Collection.
April cannot get here soon enough. Making me long for warmer days and a little bit of a golden glow (fake), are the Summer collections being announced. And this one is another beauty.
The CHANEL Summer 2008 Summer Collection is a definite must-have for the season.
The heat-baked sands, golden browns, and beautiful sunset bronzes have me heading off somewhere tropical.
FACE: For a summer face based on the ultimate bronze, CHANEL offers the new SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in five versatile shades, plus BRONZE UNIVERSEL DE CHANEL Sun Illuminator.
EYES: Complement this sun-kissed skin tone with OMBRE ESSENTIELLE Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Tigre (bronze), Nomade (pink rose), Khaki (khaki green), and Safari (stone brown); amp up the shine with LUMIÈRES FACETTES Iridescent Effects Eyes in Oasis, a quad containing khaki, bronze, coral, and pink shimmer, or OMBRE D’EAU Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Atoll (golden sand). For long-lasting definition, STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF Long-Lasting Eyeliner comes in an exotic new shade, Vert Bronze (green bronze), while INIMITABLE WATERPROOF Mascara Multi-Dimensionnel is now available in Emeraude, a shimmering, jade-green.

Also enriched with their inner berry boost (the t5 complex) to moisturize, soothe, and condition lips. I love the peppermint flavor. This gloss comes in 4 shades: Acai Boost, a shimmery berry pink; Acerola Rush, a shimmery peach with gold; Go Go Goji, a shimmery natural pure pink; and Pomegranate Punch, a shimmery, yet sheer, red.
Rejuvelash ($16) - A conditioning mascara primer that helps mascara to glide on easier, look better, and protect lashes from the harsher chemical in mascara that day out lashes.
