CHANEL Robertson Boulevard Nail Colour Collection.

You know you will want this colour collection from CHANEL. It is the new and exclusive to the Robertson Boulevard CHANEL Boutique to coincide with the opening of their newest boutique.

The four limited edition shades in the Robertson Boulevard Nail Colour Collection will be sold exclusively in-store at the Robertson Boutique starting on May 30th, but will become available online to the masses come July.

The four fun shades:
MELROSE - A fun, hot pink destined to become Spring's must-have pedicure
RODEO DRIVE - A purple splash, girl power meets the power lunch
L.A. SUNRISE - A primary yellow, as bright and cheerful as its name
L.A. SUNSET - A warm tangerine, just the thing for an afternoon shopping splurge

Each colour will retail for $25 - but worth it I am sure.

A Chanel Blue Satin Alternative.

As you know the season's coveted nail polish shade, Chanel’s Blue Satin is COMPLETELY sold out everywhere. Don't even think of spending up to $60 for a bottle of this short-lived trendy polish when you can pick up an identical, more affordable version.

POOLSIDE from Napoleon Perdis is practically identical, and like I said, this Chandelier Shine is available at NapoleonPerdis.com and is just $12.

Beautiful!

For the Manicured Mom.

My Mother drives me insane when it comes to nail care. She ONLY gets pedicures in the Summer, and never even had a manicure. I sometimes wonder where I came from!!!

Just in case your Mom is different than mine and loves to pamper her nails, I have found a real treat for her.

essie_spring.jpgThis is Essie's new Spring Collection called Starting Over, $45. In this set has is complete set of new colors:

E-Nuff Is E-Nuff - a cherry red
My Way - sheer baby pink
Pinking Up The Pieces - iridescent pink
Read-Y Set Ex - orange red
Starter Wife - sheer pink
Wife Goes On - true red

P.S. Don't let her think you are insinuating anything with the name of the collection or shade names.

Eva Mendes - Beautiful, but Blue!

In this weeks Life & Style Magazine, the Style Insider brings us the beautiful Eva Mendes and her daring new trend: sporting blue nails!

blue_nails.jpg

The article features three great pictures of the beauty sporting very dark blue nail polish on three different occassions.

The magazines pick for deep, rich blue nail polishes include:

Revlon Dark Pleasures in Midnight Affair
China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Up All Night
Napoleon Perdis Chandelier Shine Nail Polish in Poolside

Honestly, I do not know how much I like this trend. You know, blue cannot look good on just anyone. I liked the light blue nail polish I wore on my toes years back, but I think I may just skip this one.

What do you think? Dark blue polish for your nails? Yes or No.

Essie's '07 Spring Collection.

Oooh, How I love Essie.  This has got to be one of the best collections Essie has put out yet. There is not a single color I would not use.

essie_spring.jpgThe best way to get all of the great shades (at a small discount to boot) is in the Spring '07 Colours To Go .

The shades in the collection, which are naturally included in this set: Cool-lots, Guchi Muchi Puchi, Jackie Oh My, Mini How High, Mod Squad and Pinkadelic.

And you know what I love even more - is that Essie has done a major website over haul, and there is an online boutique to shop right then and there for your favorite Essie products.

Paint Yourself Pink!

Pink makeup = romantic makeup. And wouldn't it be nice to wear your romatic makeup on Valentines Day?

I am lucky to be fair skinned in which most pinks look nice on me. I prefer the soft pastel pinks, but I like just about any type of pink makeup. If you are not that into Pinks, take a few of my suggestions, and I bet I change your mind.

piink_lipgloss.jpgSephora has a cute line of products, entitled appropriately enough, Piink. And like they say, "The best things in life are pink". I love this lip gloss crayon ($5) in the line, especially in Milky Rose - the most beautiful shade of rose petal pink. It's ease of use in that is glides on like a lipstick out of it's chubby stick but it looks sheer and glossy and low price tag are a huge plus! I also like to use their My Miistic Shadow ($9) in Tender Pink, which is a loose powder eyeshadow in pink with a hint of gold. It is in the cutest container that you dip the sponge tipped applicator into to get to the shadow.

For blushing in pink, I have a few favorites.

My Best of 2006.

I have discovered so many great new beauty products this year - some new, some tried and true, but new to me - that I am having such a difficult time narrowing down my "Favorite Things" list for the year.

One thing that I can easily add to the list is you, my faithful and loyal readers. Without you, there would be no beauty blog - and I would have no other way to show and express my joys of beauty searching. So to you all, I thank you for your continued support.

Onto the list. Here I present My Favorite Things 2006.
