My oh my, MAC Cosmetics; they have done it again and completely blown me away with the new Studio Waterweight Concealer. I honestly didn't think that I could be so obsessed with a new concealer because I have my two favorites (ok, three) but I might just be slipping those into a drawer and solely using this new one because it is OH SO GOOD!

Currently Obsessed: MAC Studio Waterweight Concealer

This new Studio Waterweight Concealer looks and feels so liquidy, as you can see in the picture below, but I think that is what gives it a next-to-nothing feel on the skin. What is unexpected from this consistency is that the concealer offers coverage — real coverage!

The coverage that I get from MAC Studio Waterweight Concealer does not cake or crease or settle in or around my eyes, or into my fine lines. It sort of just glides over the skin and looks real and natural. It dries down to a satin finish that I am currently obsessed with.

The applicator is actually a glass dropper, which is sort of funky. I shake the bottle and have to keep remembering that a little goes a long way and use what comes off the bottom of the dropper than actually squeezing the dropper. This may be wrong, but it works for me. I then apply with the small beautyblender sponge.

There are 16 shades of Studio Waterweight Concealer so it is pretty easy to find your perfect match. I am normally an NC30 for my MAC foundation shade, but that is a bit too dark for me in this concealer. I tried NC20 and that was too light. I just ordered NC25 and I am hoping that will be the perfect match. For now, I am mixing a bit of both NC 20 & NC 30 together (two of the shades that I was sent to try) on the back of my hand and applying to get just the right shade for me.
