La Mer Introduces The Eye Balm Intense.
I am on the constant search for the holy grail of eye creams and treatments. Just when I think I may have found it, a better one comes along. Such is this new beauty from La Mer that launches this month. The Eye Balm Intense is everything I could want in an eye cream, and more.

The Eye Balm Intense is powered with a triple concentration of La Mer’s seaborne elixir—The Miracle Broth™, state-of-the-art Marine De-Puff Ferment™ and exclusive Lifting Ferment™. What does that mean? It means it works with some of the most powerful ingredients made, and it works well and fast. I have only been using the Eye Balm Intense for a few days and some results are almost immediate.
I love how the Eye Balm Intense immediately comforts my entire eye are with a gentle cooling sensation as I apply. It noticeably hydrates the area and depuffs as it smoothes it overall. Over time, I am told that I will continue to see the results as puffiness will dramatically decrease and fine lines and wrinkles smooth out even more.
Do not let the name "balm" fool you though. When I think of a balm, I think of a lip balm or a more solid form of treatment. While Eye Balm Intense looks rich, it goes on feeling like a lotion, not heavy at all, but hydrating.
I do not use the applicator when applying, but purchasing the Eye Balm Intense at full size, comes with its special cooling silver-tipped applicator. This applicator was created to help stimulate micro-circulation, working in synergy with The Eye Balm Intense to help aid in de-puffing, while specifically designed to pick up the precise amount of product needed for each application.
The Eye Balm Intense, which will retail for $145, will be available this month at select Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and online at lamer.com.

If you are already a fan of the La Mer cream, then you need to try this for your eye area. Like I said, it is not a balm in texture, so you will be fine.
Congratulations on quitting smoking. I bet you would love this eye balm for reducing wrinkles. Another one I would try that works well on deep wrinkles is StriVectin Eye Cream. I recommend it to everyone personally and use it every night myself.
La Mer is a pricey brand, but worth it for me.
I don't understand what you mean about the ingredient list differing. Differing from what?
I know what the main ingredients are and you can read more about them at lamer.com
