Makeup Wars: My Vacation Makeup Bag.
Many of us bloggers who battle it out in Makeup Wars are either on vacation or are heading out on vacation soon. We are a traveling bunch! I am, in fact, headed to Florida tomorrow. I cannot wait for 6 days at the beach!
I am usually a serious over-packer when it comes to makeup, but this time I am keeping it light; very low maintenance. I plan to do not much more than relax at the beach and go out to dinner, so I figured I could do a simple makeup look that will go with everything. I also wanted to fit everything into this cute Just a Flirt Makeup Bag. The bag is super durable, long enough to fit a full sized brush, yet it takes up very little space in my already jam packed suitcase. I do "carry on" so the liquids will be in a quart sized bag inside my handbag. Luckily, all of my skin care and hair care is already in Florida at my home away from home or carrying on would not be possible. If I had to bring those with me, packing would be much different.

I'm pretty proud of myself for how much I have streamlined everything and am soley bringing the basics.

The bag is perfect and really fits all that I need it to. The longer size is essential.
Yes! That is all that I have packed! My 17 year old daughter is bringing way to much with us and if I have to, I can borrow from her. But honestly, I probably won't. This is a very low-key vacation.
I couldn't believe that it all fit in the bag. It barely zips, but it does. My eyelash curler is a Shu - that's a new one and boy does it make a difference. I need to remember to replace it more often.
No, it's not a rest. It is like a knob of some sort. I don't get the design; it just makes it look pretty.
You will love NAKED Flushed. And I cannot believe it all fit in the bag either. I thought I was going to have to leave something out.
Thanks! The Archie's Girls bag is perfect.
I don't know how I'm going to make it with so little, honestly.
Aren't the Color Whispers amazing? I keep buying more, but settled on this neutral shade to go with everything. I probably should sneak in a bright one too because I want to pretend it is summer.
You need the UD Basics palette. You will use it all the time! I use it a a base for many looks and often on its own.
It's a new foundation and every bit of wonderful. Check it out next time you are in Sephora.
Thanks. I am loving the bag. Forgot to add that I am carrying the matching tote bag with me too.
I honestly can't believe that I am sticking to a bare minimum for this trip. I do plan to keep it low key, so the basics were all that is necessary.
