New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for the Spring 2013 season started this morning in New York City. The shows will continue in New York for the next week, before other designers start showing in other cities of the world. To see the latest on twitter, check out the hashtag #NYFW and #MBFW. I still refer to it as NYFW, even though the "official" Mercedes Benz Fashion Week hashtag is the later. Leave it to the bloggers to set the trend and come up with our own NYFW hashtag before the fashion people took notice and corrected us with their own.

Yeah! I love seeing all the Fashion Week looks and spying new products.

I've never understood how fashion week relates to beauty. I've never really understood how fashion week relates to any of us real women. The looks are runway and the makeup and hair too avant garde.
