NEW from John Freida: Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Shampoos and Conditioners.

DateMarch 22, 2010 | written by AuthorTeri Cosenzi, Editor | Comment2 Comments | Share ArticleShare This

A few days ago, I mentioned the John Freida Sheer Blonde Entourage that kicked off in NYC last week, in which I was so honored to be in attendance. While there, I learned about some very exciting new hair care products from the brand. Let me just say this up front, I am quite impressed with this ground-breaking technology, and I know you will be too.

Out of the few new products that John Freida is launching, I think I am most excited about the new Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Shampoos and Conditioners. I seem to battle frizz on many days, especially in the heat and humidity of summer, so I can use all of the help that I can get. What these products do is important.  They start to work in the shower, to get a jump start on fighting the war on frizz.

There are two formulas in the Smooth Start line-up. Select from Smooth Start Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner or Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner.

Smooth Start Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner - These both provide an essential frizz-fighting benefit with moisture. The hydrating formulas work together to smooth and deeply hydrate dry strands to replenish vital moisture and restore hair's natural defense against frizz. Natural olive oil provides added nurishment and moisture, leaving parched hair silky, shiny and highly manageable.

Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner - These two work together to help smooth and repair the damage that causes frizz by sealing split ends and replenishing hair's natural frizz barrier. The formula contains silk protein that boosts strength and reinforces distressed strands, leaving hair soft, smooth and repaired.

Both the shampoo and conditioner are also formulated with an exclusive Frizz-Mending Complex that when combined with Frizz-Ease serums, work to help prevent frizz and block out humidity. The shampoos and conditioners are gentle enough to use everyday, as they are lightweight, but work hard to pave the way to sleek looking hair.

Harry Josh, the John Freida International Creative Consultant and Celebrity Hair Stylist, gave actress Amanda Seyfried these products to use for a few days leading up to Oscar night, for which he styled her hair. He said that by using both the shampoo and conditioner before styling, Amanda was guaranteed a smoother, sleeker style that was frizz-free, of course. As it rained that day in Los Angeles, Amanda had nothing to worry about as her hair continued to look sleek and beautiful all night long.

To get your head start to smooth, healthy and frizz-free hair, pick up John Freida Smooth Start Shampoos and Conditioners at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide. The price is right at just $6.49 each.

Stay tuned for information on John Freida's other launches in the Root Awakening line.
