Sephora VIB Sale: 20% Off 11/8/2012 - 11/12/2012.

In case you didn't get the email, the Sephora VIB Sale for 20% off begins today. Check your email for all the information, which I also have displayed below.

To get the 20% off at, you must be a VIB and you must use the code: CELEBRATE to get the discount. If you bring a friend with you to the store, you can also share your VIB discount, which I think is a great gesture!

I typically use this discount to shop for a few essentials, or things that I use regularly throughout the year. I also have my eye on a few items that I'd like to review, so this is a great time for me to stock up on those as well. Of course, there are some great gift sets that I pick up as every female on my list gets at least one gift of beauty from me.

Beauty Essentials

Purity Made Simple Cleanser in 32 oz. size - $49.50 $39.60 after discount
I use my favorite cleanser in the shower every morning, so this is definitely an essential for me. This large 32 oz. size usually gets me through the entire year, so it is not only a great deal, it's a must.

Clarisonic Replacement Brush Head Twin Pack - $40.00 $32.00 after discount
I use my Clarisonic every day. The brush head needs to be changed every few months, so a twin pack is the way to go. Normally, a single brush head is $25, so this one is another great deal that I have to have.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream - $28.00 $22.40 after discount
This jar gets my hands and feet through the winter. It is super rich, but has a light whipped texture that melts into my skin and immediately relieves dryness.

New Items I Want To Try

NARS Debbie Harry Eye and Cheek Palette - $65.00 $52.00 after discount
I have to have this beautiful looking palette. With fours gorgeous eye shadows and two beautiful blushes, I need it. I've seen it about a dozen times now and have been waiting for this discount to purchase.

Hourglass Oxygen Foundation Mineral Powder - $46.00 $36.80 after discount
The two times I went into Sephora to find the right bareMinerals READY Foundation color for me, two different beauty consultants told me that I needed to try this foundation. It's been on my mind ever since, and I know I have to try it now.

YSL Glossy Stain - $32.00 $25.60 after discount
This is one of my favorites this year and I need a few more shades. I think I am going to pick up a nude (Beige Aquarelle) and because the holidays are almost here, a red (Rouge Laque).

And because I am a mascara junkie, I have to try these:

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara - $19.00 $15.20 after discount

Diorshow Black Out Mascara - $25.00 $20.00 after discount

Gift Sets

Philosophy The Care Package - $89.00 $71.20 after discount
This set has everything that my sister loves and if he items were bought separely, it would cost over $150.00. I know she will love it.

Benefit Sexy Little Stowaways - $34.00 $27.20 after discount
I have a few teens on my list and I know any of them would love this. It has 10 of their best sellers, all in travel sized, which are perfect for teens as they bore easily and never finish full sized items.

Tarte Carried Away Collector's Set - $54.00 $43.20 after discount
My daughter loves Tarte and I buy her one of these HUGE value sets each year. This one has 35 products and has a value of over $500. I cannot pass this up for her, and I know she will love it!

LORAC Eye Candy Full Face Collection - $59.00 $47.20 after discount
Okay. This one is for me.  It has four eye shadow palettes, one cream eyeliner palette and an eye and cheek palette. The colors look so wearable too.

Urban Decay Ocho Loco 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil - $59.00 $47.20 after discount
This one is also for my daughter. She goes through eyeliners like no one I know. She has them all over her vanity, her bathroom, in her school bag, her purse, her car and I am sure she has a slew of them in her lockers at school. She is always asking for more, and I think this set will satisfy her for at least a month.

What are you shopping for?

I can weigh in on the Dior BlackOut Mascara you want to try! If you haven't used the Diorshow mascaras before, you're missing out! I love them. I've tried three: Black Out, Extase and Iconic. Of the three, Extase is my favorite. It goes on so smoothly and thickens more than Iconic or Black Out. However, Black Out is amazing, if you don't mind having two $25 mascaras around because Black Out is the ultimate layering mascara.

I haven't tried the Hourglass powder but if you try it, I'd love to know what you think. The Hourglass primer is one of my favorite products.
I will definitely update you Emily.

Thanks for letting me know about your love for the Dior Mascaras. I've used Extase before and really liked it to. It was one of those mascara that I actually finished, but onto the next - ha!

I tried to get into Sephora twice last night, but the store was crazy with the event going on. I'm going to head over later today and hopefully can pick up these new beauties.
Doing holiday shopping with my discount. I'm looking for the feminine and fun palettes from UD and some cute Philosophy Christmas sets to give my mom and aunt. I am known for giving them at the workplace too. Hopefully they have those small shower gels that hang off the tree. My co workers love them, and I always get a big Amazing Grace set for my boss. She wears it everyday.

I guess I will be putting the discount to good use.
I got the great reusable tote bag (how chic will I look bringing that to the grocery?) And actually stocked up pretty full last night. I also got essentials. I've learned to do most of my basic beauty shopping during this event. I got Exfolikate, 4 packs of Josie Maran Bare Naked wipes, clarifying lotion from Clinique (2 large bottles), 2 Fresh sugar lip balms and my favorite Juicy perfume. I bought two different moisturizers that I think will be good. I got Hope in a Jar and Clinique Moisture Surge for at night. I think that's it. I actually saved a lot so it was worth it.
You are very smart to start your holiday shopping with the discount Namie. You choices sound wonderful. Happy shopping!
Wow, Briana! It sounds like you put the discount to good use. Great purchases!
