M·A·C Mineralize Rich Lipstick.

M·A·C is expanding their Mineralize line of products to now include lipstick. Yay! You know I love lip products and I was so excited when I read about the launch of Mineralize Rich Lipstick. Now that they are here and I was sent a few to try, I could not wait to tell you about them. They are good!

M·A·C’s love affair with lips has led to the launch of a new M·A·C masterpiece. Introducing MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick – it’s larger in size and scope and lavishes lips with nutrient-rich moisture. Featuring a luxurious formula and gorgeous colour, enhanced with a mineral moist complex that provides lips with nourishment and lasting hydration. Lightweight colour glides on with ease for an intense bright with shade retention.

There are twelve shades in the collection and they are all very wearable. The colors are pigmented, but softly, as in they are not "look at me" lip colors. The colors are buildable though. The finish is somewhat glossy, like a cream gloss.

  • Style Surge - Neutral coral cream
  • Luxe Naturale - Light beige cream
  • Glamour Era - Mid-tone warm brown frost
  • Posh Tone - Soft warm nude cream
  • Lady At Play - Mid-tone cool tangerine
  • Lush Life - Deep cool plum
  • Dreaminess - Soft cool pink cream
  • Grande Dame - Mid-tone neutral rose cream
  • All Out Gorgeous - Deep warm red
  • Everyday Diva - True red cream
  • Elegant Accent - Mid-tone warm rose cream
  • Divine Choice - Mid-tone cool pink cream

The formula is very smooth and light feeling on the lips - very buttery soft. It is made up of 77 minerals to instantly nourish lips.

The new shape of the lipstick tube is different as it takes a nod in the direction of the other Mineralize product caps. It is made of metal and is suprisingly magentized. The cap "clicks" into place on the base.

M·A·C Mineralize Rich Lipstick sells for $22.00 each. Look for them now at all M·A·C locations, Nordstrom, Macy's and online at

Make It Lash: PREVAGE Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum.

In my quest for bigger and better lashes, I just put Elizabeth Arden's PREVAGE Clinical Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum to the test. The newest addition to the PREVAGE family, this serum treats lash (and brow) breakage and brittleness.

PREVAGE Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum supports and enhances the look of lashes at all three stages of their life cycle. It provides key ingredients and conditioners to help maintain the healthiest looking lashes. Not only that, this serum actually helps to shield lashes from future damage.

Developed in partnership with the world renowned Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute, this serum is clinically proven and both dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. It is fragrance and colorant free, so it does not irritate even the most sensitive of eyes.

To say I am surprised by this serum is an understatement. I'm surprised, because I didn't expect to give it a review for another few weeks, at least. I have only been using this serum for just over two weeks. As I have been using lash enhancing products on the regular too, I wasn't even sure if I would notice that much of a difference. But I did. And fast. I am not sure if I just happen to be in the cycle of my lashes where they are at their strongest, but my lashes are more full and longer than they have been. I have also been using it on my thinning and ever so weird brows, and I am seeing better looking brows already too. They are thicker for sure, and softer, which is great, as I have certainly noticed my brow hairs thicker and wiry lately.

PREVAGE Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum sells for $98.00 and is available at Elizabeth Arden counters and online at
