Win a Le Metier de Beaute Makeover & $2500 Neiman Marcus Shopping Spree!

I went on a major shopping spree on Saturday, and when I heard of this fun little game that Neiman Marcus was hosting where I could walk away with a great little beauty gift and have a chance at a HUGE $2500 shopping spree, I knew I had to play.


All I had to do was download the SCVNGR app on my iPhone (which is available for Android too) and go Neiman Marcus and check in, do a few challenges, and the reward was mine.

Here are all the details:

Neiman Marcus has partnered with SCVNGR, the geo-location application, to allow customers to win rewards like a makeover and eyeliner from Le Metier de Beaute and a chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree! The promotion runs through April 10 , 2011 at all 41 Neiman Marcus locations

 Here’s how it works:  

  • Download the FREE SCVNGR app at the Android Market or the Apple App Store onto a Smartphone
  • Upon downloading the SCVNGR app customers will be asked a series of questions that can only be answered by completing interactive tasks within a full-line Neiman Marcus store. 
  • The SCVNGR mobile challenge is divided into three distinctive tiers, after successful completion of each tier the customer is rewarded with a gift from the Neiman Marcus store.

The interactive SCVNGR game debuts during Neiman Marcus’ Big Night Out – an event designed to offer looks from Dress Collections for prom, spring formals, and every celebration on your spring social calendar.

I wish I could have gotten to the next reward level, alas the AT&T coverage in the Natick Neiman Marcus was horrible, and it took me over a half an hour to reach the first level and grab my Le Metier de Beaute eyeliner. I would have loved a makeover too, but I needed to schedule an appointment when a LMDB artist would be there.  If anyone gets further with the challenge, let me know what other fun rewards you grabbed.
