Bobbi Brown's Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge Campaign.

Just in time to celebrate International Women's Month, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is launching the Pretty Powerful Campaign for Women and Girls.

Starting today, this worldwide movement is dedicated to empowering women and girls with education, resources, job skills and work experience and will aim to help them “be who they are.”  The campaign will raise funds through the sale of a limited-edition Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge ($25) and via GlobalGiving.org.  In the U.S., every cent of the proceeds from sales of the Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge will go to Dress for Success, which Bobbi has worked with for years.

Lea Michele is the Newest Face of L'Oréal Paris.

L’Oréal Paris is pleased to announce award-winning actress Lea Michele as the brand’s newest ambassador.

Today, Lea joins the L’Oréal Paris Spokespersons family, including Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé Knowles, Julianna Margulies, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell, Freida Pinto and Aimée Mullins, among others. Lea will debut in TV and print advertising campaigns for the leading global beauty brand beginning in the United States in early 2013.

Lea is perhaps best known for her role in the critically-acclaimed, Fox TV television series Glee, which returned this month for its fourth season. Throughout her role as Rachel, Lea has received a People’s Choice Award, a Teen Choice Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has also been honored with an Emmy Award nomination and two Golden Globe nominations.

“Growing up on stage, I was introduced to makeup at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L’Oréal Paris iconic lipstick –it was instant glamour and I’ve been hooked ever since!  I’ve been a fan of L’Oréal Paris’ products for years, but it wasn’t until I was a bit older that I fully understood the brand’s message of a woman’s worth, which I wholeheartedly agree with. L’Oréal Paris encourages women to embrace their beauty and celebrate their self worth.  I feel very honored to be working with L’Oréal Paris to help spread that message to young women,” says Lea Michele.

“I am thrilled that Lea joins our roster of amazing spokespersons.  In just a few years, her incredible talent has made her one of the most popular young actresses in a TV series. Lea is committed, genuine, fun with an inspiring sense of style, in total resonance with the brand’s values,” says Cyril Chapuy, L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President.

“Lea is undeniably one of the most gifted and accomplished women of her generation and a role model to young women everywhere. We are so honored to welcome her as a member of the L’Oréal Paris family.  A beautiful woman inside and out, Lea truly exemplifies our brand philosophy ‘Because You’re Worth It,’” says Karen T. Fondu, President of L'Oréal Paris USA.

Katie Holmes is the First Celebrity Face for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

Just this morning, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics announced that Katie Holmes is the brand’s first-ever celebrity face. How exciting!

“Katie Holmes epitomizes the modern ‘Bobbi woman’… I think of her as the modern day Ali McGraw, who I have always admired,” says Bobbi Brown, “Katie is a classic natural beauty, entrepreneur, and mother. When I met her, I thought she was a natural fit for my brand, and felt an instant connection with her.”

“Bobbi is exceptional and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is a company that we, as women, all turn to because it is makeup that is very accessible and makes you feel pretty,” says Holmes, “Sometimes it is just a lipstick or a blush that makes you feel like you can do what you need to do. Makeup is powerful and I am thrilled to be a part of this brand.”

Look for Katie in print ads and on counter displays for the brand starting next spring.

P!nk is the Newest COVERGIRL.

I am a HUGE P!nk fan and am thrilled to share that she has just been signed on as the newest COVERGIRL. What a great choice.

Fresh off the heels of putting the finished touches on her new album, The Truth About Love, P!nk exemplifies what it means to be a true COVERGIRL. She’s got her own individuality and never settles for conforming to a single beauty standard. “I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music, and now my partnership with COVERGIRL to love,” said P!nk. “Joining a group of women who have always inspired me –to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look – is such an honor.

P!nk is definitely more edgey than the beautiful roster of celebrities that already rep the brand, which incluse Sofia Vergara, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift and Team USA Athletes Jennifer Kessy and Marlen Esparza. I am excited to see where the partnership goes.
