Help Sally Hansen Break the World Record!

Calling all Los Angeles area friends. Sally Hansen is trying to break the world record for the most manicures done in one day for DKMS. DKMS is America's Bone Marrow Donor Center, helping match bone marrow donors with those needing it for diseases such as leukemia.

Check out the news release below for all of the details. If you are in or around the Los Angeles, CA area, please take part in this wonderful campaign and please spread the word.

"It’s not every day you get the opportunity to help save a life when you get a manicure. But on June 10th, lifesaving is at your fingertips when you join Sally Hansen for a manicure benefiting DKMS, the world’s largest bone marrow donor center. As a part of the “Color That Cares” Campaign, the nail authority is heading to Hollywood & Highland Center in the hopes of breaking the Guinness World Record for the most nails shaped and polished in one day.

Through the Color that Cares program, visitors can get “swabbed” to help DKMS find potential marrow donors, raising awareness about this crucial cause while increasing donor registry. The invaluable organization works to expand marrow donor registries by recruiting donors across every race and ethnicity to provide leukemia and blood cancer patients with the best available donor match. Visitors will receive a manicure featuring the new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure and those who get swabbed will also receive a complimentary bottle of the breakthrough polish.

Sally Hansen’s new Complete Salon Manicure provides all 5 steps of a manicure in one bottle, combining the benefits of a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, rich color and top coat in a single multi-tasking polish. The patented formula features the most advanced lacquer technology, concentrated high-intensity color, and encapsulated treatment spheres of Vita-Care Technology."
