Get the Look: Katie Holmes at the 2015 Golden Globes.

DJ Quintero created Katie Holmes’ hair look for last nights Golden Globes Awards using products from Alterna Haircare.  DJ wanted to create a modern, clean look to compliment Katie’s strapless, eggplant-colored Marchesa dress. Katie wasn’t wearing any jewelry, so DJ created a deep-parted, low pony-tail to compliment her striking features and elegant, bare neckline.

STEP 1: Katie had just arrived from the beach, so DJ treated her dry hair with a boost of hydrating Alterna Haircare Bamboo Smooth Pure Kendi Treatment Oil ($25), letting it soak for 10 minutes.
STEP 2: DJ washed Katie’s hair with Alterna Haircare Caviar Replenishing Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner ($32 each).
STEP 3: On damp hair, DJ mixed a small amount of the Alterna Haircare Caviar Seasilk Oil Gel ($28) with the Alterna Haircare Caviar Anti-Aging Omega (+) Nourishing Oil ($38), and brushed it through with a Mason Pearson brush.
STEP 4: Using a large round brush, DJ blow dried Katie’s hair on high-heat and parted it far to Katie’s left-hand side.
STEP 5: DJ prepped Katie’s dry hair with the Alterna Haircare Caviar Perfect Iron Spray ($28), and then used a thin Sedu Revolution Diamond flatiron, from root to tip, to create a super smooth look.
STEP 6: DJ gathered Katie’s parted hair low at the nape of her neck, and secured it using a hair bungee. He wrapped several small pieces of hair around the bungee to hide it, and secured those strands with bobby pins.
STEP 7: DJ finished by spraying a supple amount of Alterna Haircare Caviar Perfect Texture Finishing Spray ($28) to the top of Katie’s head, and applied a dime-size amount of Alterna Haircare Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Micromist ($25) to her ends.

Get the Look: Jenna Dewan Tatum at the 2015 Golden Globes.

Bailey started by prepping the skin with the Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Crème.
He applied the Pür Minerals Air Perfection CC Cushion Compact Foundation in Medium for a flawless finish, allowing a natural glow to come through. He then put the Pür Minerals Chateau Cheeks Cream Blush in Coy followed by a small amount of Nars Loose Powder in Beach. Bailey also added Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder in Candlelight on the bridge of her nose, cheekbones and brow bones to add depth to her natural glow.
Next, Bailey wanted to use a plum shadow to make the green in her eyes pop. He used several shades from the Pür Minerals Soul Mattes Eye Shadow Palette to apply the eggplant shade on the lid and the taupe shade around the edges to create that smokey, sultry look.
“I then used the Pür Minerals Eye Defining Pencil in Onyx along the lash line to really define her eyes,” says Bailey. He applied the Troy Surratt Brow Pencil and Anastasia Brow Gel on her brows and finished with a few coats of the Pür Minerals Big Look Waterproof Mascara on the lashes.
Lastly, Bailey applied the LaMer Lip Balm as a base to the lips, followed by the Pür Minerals Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipstick in Georgia Peach and a pop of the Chateau Lip Gloss in Scandalous.

Her hair was styled by Bridget Brager for Matrix.

For Jenna's look we wanted to add a bit of texture and movement to the hair.

The dress is so beautiful and grand we decided to soften her hair to offset the seriousness of the dress.

In order to achieve any healthy red carpet worthy hairstyle I recommend prepping hair with a great conditioner, l like Biolage Cleansing Conditioner.

After hair was cleansed and condition I applied a dab of Biolage Styling Blow-In Control from root to ends which leaves hair soft and velevty.

Once hair was dry I used Biolage Styling Thermal Active Setting Spray which adds body and volume that lasts.

On the red carpet, especially in this rain I need all the reinforcement I can get!

To style, I created a middle part and with a medium barrel curling iron I wrapped sections of hair around the barrel loosely to add wave and movement, letting the ends drop.

Once hair was set I spray a mist of Biolage Complete Control Fast Drying Hairspray on my hand and brushed through hair to break up curls.

I tucked one side of hair behind her ear and finished with an all over spray off Biolage Complete Control Hair Spray and she was off!!

GET THE LOOK: Celebrity hairstylist Kristin Heitkotter gave Camila a glamorous deconstructed French braid chignon for the 2015 Golden Globe Awards tonight. “Camila has really curly hair and with the humidity in Los Angeles today, we wanted to make sure her hair stayed frizz-free,” said Heitkotter.
Here is her step-by-step breakdown:
·         First, Heitkotter layered damp hair with new John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Frizz Immunity Primer and John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation Styling Crème to ensure her hair looked as smooth and silky as possible.  Using a paddle brush, she dried her hair to remove moisture and gave her a voluminous blow out.
·         Then, Heitkotter parted hair into 4 sections and applied John Frieda Heat Defeat Protecting Spray before flat ironing each section to smoothen her mane. She applied a bit of the John Frieda Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir on her hair line to assure there were no flyaways.
·         Next, Heitkotter applied a few drops of John Frieda Frizz Ease Original Six Effects Serum and ran it through her ends to keep it frizz free. She divided the hair into four sections and twisted each section, loosely creating a deconstructed French braid chignon. With hair pins, she tucked the ends under, securing them in place.
·         To lock the look in place, Heitkotter sprayed new John Frieda Frizz Ease Kerafirm Firm Hold Hairspray.
