What did you get?

I shopped on Beauty.com earlier today (see post below) because of the great 20% off deal, one that I could simply not pass up.

First, I had to get NARS The Multiple. I have yet to use anything from NARS (I know, I must be living under a rock) and I can not wait to try this. I picked up Cannes, which is said to be a coppery pink. Seems like it would be perfect for my fair skin tone and to use in a hurry on my cheeks, eyes, and lips. Also, for myself, I could not pass up the Kinerase Lip Treatment as I have recently fallen for their facial products. And I have been really wanting to try the Seikisho White Mask, so that made it's way into my shopping cart as well.

I picked up the CARGO Smoky Eye Kit for my sister-in-law. She is always wondering how I achieve the smoky eye look (which I have gotten pretty good at perfecting, by the way) so I thought this would be perfect for her.

I purchased the LORAC Mini Mocktail Bar for my niece who is obsessed with all things makeup, especially lip glosses, and as she just turned 21, I thought it was pretty fitting.

Lastly, I picked up the Bliss Lemon + Sage "Merry Citrus" Set for a special friend, who reads this blog, so I cannot mention who exactly it is. But she is a Bliss Spa devotee (probably just gave it away to her), so I am sure she will love this set.

I think I did pretty good, seeing as I spent $163.60 for 6 great gifts, yeah, yeah, a few were gifts for myself, but they would have cost me $204.50 any other day. I somehow managed to get free shipping too, though I do not know how that happened.

What's Coming Up at Beautiful Makeup Search and More.

I wanted to let you know what to expect from Beautiful Makeup Search over the next few months.

We are so busy trying out a slew of foundations and concealers to bring you an in-depth concealer and foundation guide, but... we are going to hold off and publish this in January. January is the time to start anew and I feel that there is no better time to explore finding the perfect foundation and concealer.

We have a few reasons that we are putting this off because we are so excited to 1) bring you all the latest and greatest on all of the Winter makeup and Holiday beauty items. We are also readying our annual Holiday Gift Guide. 2) We are going to host our first ever contest here on Beautiful Makeup Search. I want to give back to you, my loyal readers, so we are going to be having our very own Twelve Days of Christmas contest. For twelve days we will be giving away some beautiful items including gifts from Lancome, MAC, Philosophy, Demeter Fragrances, Make Up For Ever, and more. You will have to stay tuned and start watching for the launch of the contest.

I, for one, am so excited. I have been getting some great help from some special little elves, and will be thrilled for you to see everything. Like I said, keep on checking in everyday - you will not want to miss a thing!
