Super Sizes and Sales at Sephora.

I went into Sephora yesterday to pick up a few necessities, and there were two things I noticed.

First, there were some great reduced specialty items, like special sets created just for Christmas.

Upon further investigation, it seems that most of these special sale items plus more are not only on sale st Sephora.com, but when shopping before 1/1/2011, you can get an extra 20% off when using the code EXTRA at checkout. The discount does not work in store, so I suggest shopping online to rack up the savings.

Here are a few of the sets that caught my eye:

Second, I noticed some great super sizes of some of their more popular items. I picked up a huge tub of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream for $39.00.

For overly dry skin, this cream is a must. I slather it on my hands and feet before bed and cover with cotton socks for the ultimate skin savior. To use on the rest of my body, I rub a bit of this cream in between my fingers to thin it out, and apply it to my freshly showered skin, before I dry off.

There were also some super sizes of many of the popular Philosophy items, such as Purity Made Simple, Hope in a Jar and The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. Some other note able super sizes include Living Proof hair care items, a lot of the Bliss products, and primers from Smashbox, Laura Mercier and Urban Decay.

Holiday 2010: Organize Your Beauty with this Spinning Cosmetic Organizer.

You have no idea how many pretty trays, jars and drawers that I have all over my makeup counter to just keep a handle on the products I am currently using. As I change out my makeup so often (it is my job, you know), I usually wind up with much more just sitting on the counter as I simply have no where to put it. Then I was introduced to this genius organizational product from organizational and QVC guru Lori Greiner.

This Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer is just what I need. In reality, I could probably use four of them, one for each season - alas, one will do.

This tabletop organizer holds over 100 pieces of your everyday beauty essentials, arranging them in specially designed compartments for ultimate efficiency. What's more, it spins so you can access your skin care, colored cosmetics, or other grooming supplies.

This Cosmetic Organizer is the perfect gift for anyone who needs to de-clutter their makeup or bathroom counter. When my daughter saw this one that I received, she promptly took it from me as it was, as she said,  "exactly what I needed!".  Not to worry, as this amazing invention is just $24.96, I ordered myself another one and also bought one for my sister, who is in desperate need of this beauty too.

QVC is the only place where you can get the Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer, so that is where you will want to shop. In fact, if you are looking for more of Lori's great inventions, she will be having a few shows on today and on December 10th. Check out Clever & Unique Creations by Lori Greiner today November 30, 2010 from 5 – 6 p.m. and 10 – 11 p.m. ET and Friday, December 10, 2010 from 11 p.m. – Midnight ET.
