NYFW Fall 2009 Round Up #1.

New York Fashion Week is in full swing over at Bryant Park in New York City. I will be attending a few shows later this week, but in the mean time, I think it is best to point you to those who already are. Some of my beauty blogging friends have been backstage and watching the catwalk since early Friday.

Before I round up some of the great coverage at the tents so far, I need to tell you about one of my favorite shows. This show seems to always kick off NYFW. It is the Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection fashion show. Featuring celebrities wearing red, this is such a fun show that is all about a cause, as it is put on to benefit research for women's heart disease.

Some of my great beauty blogging friends have been working on this all last year. It is The Golden Compact Awards.

You see, a group of bloggers had beauty products submitted to them over the year, and they picked the best of the best out those submitted. And really, who knows better that Beauty Bloggers who not only live and dream beauty, but spend more on beauty products each year than food - to simply have a chance to try every product imaginable.
