The MAC Halloween Face Off!

It’s no secret that Halloween is the biggest holiday at M·A·C.  Traditionally, they have celebrated it with us by creating fabulously fantastical Halloween facecharts to re-create. But because M·A·C is all about reinvention and creativity, they are doing something a bit different this year. They have gone out an enlisted a trio of M·A·C Artists, Jenn Karsten, Fatima Thomas and Joey Camasta, in a Halloween Face-Off, M·A·C style.

Each artist was filmed improvising a transformation on a contestant in under three hours using nothing but their makeup kits, creativity and a mischievous mix of hair-raising hardware, wacky wigs and other perilous props. And of course, no competition would be complete without some dramatic twists to heighten the Halloween Hijinks!

It sounds like the ultimate challenge in a reality show - which it just might be. Online readers will get to vote in the end, to select which final look and artist wins!

Gloss of the Day: MAC Maleficent Revenge is Sweet.

Another gloss from the Maleficent mini-collection from today's M∙A∙C Venomous Villains Collection, please meet Revenge is Sweet.

Revenge is Sweet is on the totally opposite end of the spectrum as the other Maleficent gloss Wrong Spell. This one is like a juicy color. It is very sheer, in a bright pink/purple shade. It reminds me a lot of the original Lancome Juicy Tube Jellys that came in the pots.
