This summer, there is a new trend, that really isn't so new -- things are going back to basics and neutral for makeup. You have noticed it, I am sure. I don't know if you've been checking out the makeup department of your favorite drugstore lately, but if you haven't seen the L'Oréal Paris section, you need to take a look now. They have palettes! Yes, two new palettes in fact, called La Palette Nude. Couple it with the new Smokissime Powder Eyeliner Pen (another one of my latest obsessions) and your eyes are on trend ready to take on spring and summer.
With summer coming up very soon, it is time to start shopping and planning for your summer makeup. One of the easiest ways to change up your summer look is with a new summer lipstick. This year for lips, we are seeing two things: nude shades and bright shades. I like both. I really like a neutral, nude lip and wear it most often, but I do tend to wear a brighter lip every now and then in the summer so my summer lipstick list is going to have both.
