Purity. Pure & Simple.

My favorite cleanser to date: Philosophy's Purity. I have used many of Philosophy's products in the past, and even swear by a few of them. It has left me wondering why it took me so long to discover Purity.

First off, I must say that I hate to use a few products to really get to the nitty gritty of cleaning my face. I loathe eye makeup remover, and toner is not one of my favorite' s either. I think that the  promise of Purity being a multi-tasking cleanser really drew me to it.

The first thing I noticed was how nice the smell was, so fresh and clean... even pure (nice play on words!). And in my few weeks of playing with this cleanser has taught me that a tiny dime sized amount will do.  I gently massage the cream over my face, neck, and even eyes - through my eyelashes! I rub around, ever so lightly, for about 20 - 30 seconds. That is all it takes. Every bit of makeup is removed. There is no oil or dryness left behind. And the feeling - clean. Pure clean - really!

Purity comes in two sizes - 8 oz. for $20 or 16 oz. for $32. Obviously the large size is the better value - and that will be the one I pick up when I am out.

QVC Alert - A Today's Special Value for Beauty

If you are a QVC watcher, then you will be familiar with Dr. Denese and her anti-aging skin care products.

While I have not used them or really know much about Dr. Denese and her line, the Today's Special Value looks like a great deal.

Here is what they say:

The art of beauty meets the science of skin care in these breakthrough anti-aging cosmeceuticals by Dr. Adrienne Denese. Each product in this six-piece regimen is designed to create a more youthful appearance by addressing some of the most common challenges of aging skin.

The Hydrating Cleanser helps moisturize and refresh as it cleans. The Firming Facial Pads exfoliate your skin, leaving it smoother and more radiant looking. The appearance of deep, defining lines is softened by the Wrinkle Rest Expression Line Peptide Concentrate. The Hydroshield Ultra Moisturizing Face Serum and Hydroshield Body Serum rejuvenate your skin, leaving it soft and hydrated. Baggage Lost Puff Reducing Eye Gel helps tighten and firm the appearance of skin around your eyes.

How Did I Mix this Up?

Do these two products look similar?

Well, they do look sort of similar. They are both white tubes with black caps, and mostly black print . But why do you suppose I could have been so un-familiar with these products as I put the lip balm around my eyes and mouth and then the Hope in a Tube onto my lips - and then it finally hit me.  "I think I did something wrong.".

Did the scent of the lip balm and the greasy shiny feel of it not give it away? Am I so into a routine that I don't care or actually bother to look at the products I am applying? Or am I completely and utterly, over-whelmingly exhausted???

We should all have these problems - right?  I'm tired!!!
