CHANEL Summer 2008 Makeup Collection.

April cannot get here soon enough. Making me long for warmer days and a little bit of a golden glow (fake), are the Summer collections being announced. And this one is another beauty.

The CHANEL Summer 2008 Summer Collection is a definite must-have for the season. 

 

The heat-baked sands, golden browns, and beautiful sunset bronzes have me heading off somewhere tropical.

FACE: For a summer face based on the ultimate bronze, CHANEL offers the new SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in five versatile shades, plus BRONZE UNIVERSEL DE CHANEL Sun Illuminator.

EYES: Complement this sun-kissed skin tone with OMBRE ESSENTIELLE Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Tigre (bronze), Nomade (pink rose), Khaki (khaki green), and Safari (stone brown); amp up the shine with LUMIÈRES FACETTES Iridescent Effects Eyes in Oasis, a quad containing khaki, bronze, coral, and pink shimmer, or OMBRE D’EAU Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Atoll (golden sand). A Look Ahead to Summer - Lancôme Cabana Bronze.

If this doesn't make you wish for long, hot Summer days, I don't know what will. The Lancôme Summer Collection, which doesn't hit counters until next month, is simply beautiful. Let me introduce you to Cabana Bronze.

 

The star products include the Star Bronzer Sun Cherub Compact and the Color Design Cabana Bronze Eye Shadow Palette.

The Sun Cherub Compact ($50) is a cherub embedded large bronzer. Loved by celebrities and makeup artists, this très grand palette showcases the original Lancôme cherub embossed in a sea of light and dark bronze shades.
