MAC Summer Collection 2010: MAC To The Beach.

I told you it was coming, and it will be here soon. MAC To The Beach is one of those summer collections where you can't just choose a few products. I am loving each and every shade in this one. I am sure I am not the only one to feel this way either. This one will sell out in no time.

The High-Light Powder is a work of art with the seahorse embossed in it. I will be picking up one to collect and yet another to use. The Cream Bronzer is also exciting me, as sometimes a powder blush can be so un-natural and this cream promises to go on and look smooth and natural.

Guerlain Summer Collection 2010: Dazzling Radiance.

I don't think it can get any better than this new collection from Guerlain. For this summer, they have created a color collection called Dazzling Radiance. The collection is based around it's famous Météorites Perles, that have been newly formulated for even more luminosity. These new Pearls with a Purpose, feature soft, delicate shades with a twist of audacity. These two limited edition items were designed to continue to capture this summer-time celebration of absolute radiance. 

Ombre Éclat 4 Shades - $59.00
These velvety soft, luminous shades come in a beautiful palette of four shades, all in the the right summer neutrals. I am loving how a white rosette, the symbol of the Météorites, is stamped on the palette and can be used as a fifth light-enhancing shade.This palette is available in 409 - Ombres Perléesfor this collection.

KissKiss Baby - $31.00
These two new shades that were specially created for the summer collection, add in the spicy audacity with delectable colors that are actually a bit transparent, as the formula is very emollient. KissKiss Baby is enriched with wild mango butter and Luffa oil, so this lip color not only moisturizes, it protect the lips and uses an SPF10 formula to further protect from the sun. Available in two shades: 242 Coral Sunset and 262 Cherry Summer.

At the heart of the collection for which it was built around are the Météorites Perles. This year, the power of the pearl is enhanced through new shades and a new formulation specifically adapted to the needs of different skin tones: a rosy complexion tends to show redness, while a beige complexion turns grey with the onset of fatigue and a golden complexion becomes yellow and dull. So for this, Guerlain has created three different Météorites Perles color harmonies to address the ways that different skin tones reflect color and light.

Harmony 01 – Teint rosé
Corrective Effect: mauve reflects light, brightening up the shadowy areas and green diminishes redness.
Unifying Effect: pink evens out the complexion and champagne accentuates this action by reflecting light.
Light-Enhancing Effect: white, a touch of light par excellence, illuminates the complexion without ever making the skin appear pale and gold adds additional radiance.

Harmony 02 – Teint beige
Corrective Effect:mauve and pink combine to add a healthy glow to a dull complexion.
Unifying Effect: unifying beige and apricot beige add a warm glow to the face.
Light-Enhancing Effect:white and white gold accentuate the light reflecting result.

Harmony 03 – Teint doré
Corrective Effect: eternal mauve and blue eliminate the yellow hue in a golden complexion.
Unifying Effect: unifying beige and chocolate beige enhance a golden complexion.

Lancôme Summer 2010: Bronze Riveria.

I think we have been spoiled with gorgeous, unseasonably warm weather in the Northeast, because it has turned cold and I am not happy. I have been going through all of the new summer collections to give me warmth, and I plan to bring you a new one each day, in between regular postings.

Let's start with this new one from Lancôme. It has me longing for a warm summer vacation in the Riviera, and it is titled appropriately so, Bronze Riviera.

The makeup collection is a mix of mineral blushes, bronzers and sheer glosses, that all scream to bring on summer once and for all. Here are the highlights of the collection:
