Go Out With Some Glitter!

Whether you are ringing out the old or bringing in the new, they isn't a better way to do it than with a little - say Glitter. That is what Tarte Cosmetics had in mind when they created this great Glitterati Eye Kit, an exclusive to Sephora.

tarte_glitter.jpgIn the kit is my favorite Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara in black, a silver eye lining stain, which is a silvery with glitter liquid eye liner, and Glitterati mascara - a clear mascara with different sizes of silver glitter.

To get Tarte's "Glitterati Eye" look, simply stroke Glitterati over your Lights, Camera, Lashes!and be sure to concentrate on the ends to get the real WOW factor. The eye liner can be used on it's own or over a darker liner to really intensify the look. The Glitterati mascara is great to run highlights through your hair to give it a bit of silver sparkle too.

Like I said, this is a Sephora exclusive, so be sure to get over there right away or order online. It is a $48 value for just $30.

And if you are a Tarte girl and think you have what it takes to strut you stuff along side Tarte's creator Maureen Kelly on QVC, be sure to visit this link to find out how you could have the chance to win this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Happy New Year!

Are You Ready for Your Close-Up?

Are you ready for your close-up? I am - with my newest favorite mascara from Tarte Cosmetics. Listen to this name, Lights, Camera, Lashes. It says it all.

Tarte with Heart.

Now this is what I call heart!

bca_tarte.jpgTarte Cosmetics is donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of their "Pretty in Pink" items. And what do I mean by items? I mean they are donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of not one, not two - but 5 different products! How nice are they?

They are contributing the proceeds to the Young Survival Coalition, a support network for women under 40 living with breast cancer.

And during the month too, they will feature a guest columnist, Maurey Lancaster, discuss her experience as a breast cancer survivor. She’ll blog about her diagnosis and chemotherapy experience, offer helpful beauty tips for those undergoing treatments, and most importantly she’ll give women of all ages a sense of hope. Be sure to stop by and read her words of wisdom and inspiration.
