Tarte BCA Lipstick in Sweet Dreams.

Tarte, in collaboration with Borba, have created a lipstick that’s actually good for you! Similar to their Inside Out glosses, Tarte’s new long-lasting lipstick beautifies you on the outside, while BORBA’s age-defying nutraceutical blend beautifies you on the inside. 

Right now, there are only three shades available, with the dusty-rose shade named "Sweet Dreams" being chosen as their BCA product this year.

 

Throughout this month of October, 20% of the retail sales from Tarte's BCA Lipstick will go to the Young Survival Coalition.

Mascara Monday - Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes!

Today I want to tell you about one of my favorite mascaras, and bring you updated information on something that makes this mascara even better.

I have been using Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara with it's faux leather croc case since it was introduced a few years ago. I think I even tried it before it went on the market! This mascara is a staple in makeup bag and used more then a few times a week.  Lights, Camera, Lashes! lengthens, curls, and thickens lashes while it conditions them with natural olive esters. The brush is a mix of very short and long bristles, making application a breeze while lashes are coated and clump-free in easy swoop.

Like I said, I love Lights, Camera, Lashes!, but Tarte thought that customers wanted more from their mascara, so they have recently introduced Rejuvelash.

Rejuvelash is actually a 3 piece product which contains, Light's, Camera, Lashes! but has added in their handy ergonimically designed eyelash curler to the mix as well as a brand new product. This new product is called Take Two.

Take Two is a declumping lash exhilarator, designed to to three things.

• Treat: ProVitamin B5 and a cocktail of herbal hair restoratives such as aloe improve the texture of eyelash hair to increase suppleness and prevent breakage so your lashes can reach their full potential
• Protect: Proprietary antioxidant blend with Vitamin C acts as a film former to protect against cosmetic, environmental and free radical damage
• Revive: give late day lashes a lift and get rid of clumps; unique emulsifying agents and this patented flexible bristle brush gently to eliminate clumps

 To use this system, you would first curl the lashes, apply one coat of Take Two to both the upper and lower lashes, let that dry for 2 -3 minutes, and then apply the Light's, Camera, Lashes!.

It is definitely three steps worth taking the time to do and repeating on a daily basis.
