Bobbi Brown Introduces Illuminating Finish Powder Compact Foundation.
/Color me excited to learn about this latest foundation launch from Bobbi Brown. It is a powder foundation called Illuminating Finish Powder Foundation. Now, if anyone can get a powder foundation down pat, it has got to be Bobbi, right?

Applied wet or dry, it evens out your skin and gives it a brightness that lasts all day—in any kind of lighting. And because it’s so finely milled, it looks incredibly natural.”
I used to wear powder foundations all the time - until I started to age too quickly that is. I would notice that after a few hours of wearing, most powders would start to hide in the crevices of my face, accentuating my lines. The fact that as I am getting drier skin as I get older didn't help things either. It was getting very difficult to find a powder that did not dry me out even more, or look cakey or ruddy on my dry skin. This foundation sounds like it will not settle into lines, nor make me look dry or cakey.
I have not tried this yet, but I am told that Illuminating Finish Powder Foundation has a creamy feel to it, that will do away with shine, and give a radiant glow to the skin, while looking natural at the same time. It is supposed to be build able, as most powder foundations are, and the powder contains reflective pigments that soften and diffuse imperfections while giving a soft radiant glowy look to the skin. I cannot wait to try it!

As I mentioned powder foundations are build able, it is just a matter of how you apply it. For high coverage, smooth it on with a damp sponge. For medium coverage, apply it with a puff or dry sponge.
For sheer coverage, dust it on with a powder brush.
