Estée Lauder Double Wear Mineral Rich Loose Powder Makeup.

Estée Lauder first introduced the concept of long-wearing makeup in 1997 with Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10, a liquid foundation whose purpose was to keep pace with the modern woman’s active, on-the-go lifestyle. More than a decade later, thanks to new advanced technologies and forward-thinking innovation, Estée Lauder has grown the Double Wear promise of long wear into a franchise of long-wearing products for face, eyes and lips. It's latest addition to join the Double Wear lineup is this Mineral Rich Loose Powder Makeup.

M∙A∙C Future Face is Here!

M∙A∙C Future Face is Here! A new launch, this one is all about perfecting your skin, through the use of these new beauties.

It is a three-in-one force: Powder, Foundation and Tinted Moisturizer all together.

First, new Studio Careblend Pressed Powders blur the line between skincare and makeup, with a pressed texture that beautifies as it benefits.

I believe the secret to this is not only the powder, but the puff as well. I love applying it all over my face after I am finished with my makeup for a total air brushed look. The light shade is so perfect for me, that I also blend it on down over my neck to soften the appearance of my wrinkles that are unfortunately apparent now-a-days. I apply it lightly, as I said, but it can be used on its own for a sheer to medium, smooth, even coverage for a flawlessly soft and even tone with caring, comforting properties.

Also part of this launch is an extended range of shades for Studio Fix Fluid and Studio Moisture Tint SPF 15. These new shade extensions fill in all the gaps for a more broad, all-inclusive shade range.

COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation.

The COVERGIRL NatureLuxe line of products touted by the brands newest celebrity spokesperson Taylor Swift is here. It has launched in a big way last month and the reviews on this foundation are pretty much spot on all around. I have read about the love on both Facebook and Twitter so I thought it time to chime in with my two cents on this more luxury drugstore foundation.

COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation
is a liquid cream version that comes in a tube. It is silky, as it applies as such, and blends with ease. It feels heavier than your average liquid foundation, though not as heavy as your average cream one either. It is sort of like the best of both worlds. The fact that this foundation is formulated with cucumber water along with a hint of jojoba and rose hip extracts solidifies this fact. I think those of you who need a bit of coverage, not too full, and have skin more on the dry side like me, will enjoy the look, feel and most importantly the finish of this foundation. The only thing I wish this had was no scent. I am overly sensitive to scents and especially do not like it in my foundation. Luckily this scent is soft and quickly fades away, making it not that much of a bother - though I still wish it were not there at all.

NatureLuxe Silk Foundation comes in a nice range of 14 neutral shades, and based upon the color swatches over on the COVERGIRL website, they are pretty accurate. It retails for $11.99 and is available at drugstores and mass retailers now.
