Envy in a Bottle.

Innocent, yet provocative; subtle, but never unnoticed. This is Lip Envy from Urban Decay.

bca_ud.jpgLip Envy is a water-rich stain that provides a long-lasting wash of color. Made with powerful antioxidants, including Vitamin E, Green Tea, Chamomile and Ginkgo Biloba extracts, Lip Envy provides a nourished, kiss-proof pout. The innovative gel-based formula cools and refreshes lips, then dries to a soft, sultry, slightly matte finish.

The result? A just-bitten, natural lip look that feels as satisfying as your first kiss. It is  anon-drying formula too, so you can wear it alone or beneath your favorite gloss for a natural looking flush. Lip Envy comes in a cool inkwell type bottle, with a flocked applicator.

During BCA month, a 15% of the sales price sold from the shade Envious ($17), will be donated to Boarding for Breast Cancer Foundation. Envious is a very pretty light pink shade that comes complete with a pink breast cancer ribbon so you can wear it with pride.

Tarte with Heart.

Now this is what I call heart!

bca_tarte.jpgTarte Cosmetics is donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of their "Pretty in Pink" items. And what do I mean by items? I mean they are donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of not one, not two - but 5 different products! How nice are they?

They are contributing the proceeds to the Young Survival Coalition, a support network for women under 40 living with breast cancer.

And during the month too, they will feature a guest columnist, Maurey Lancaster, discuss her experience as a breast cancer survivor. She’ll blog about her diagnosis and chemotherapy experience, offer helpful beauty tips for those undergoing treatments, and most importantly she’ll give women of all ages a sense of hope. Be sure to stop by and read her words of wisdom and inspiration.

Ms. Brill shared with us that she believes that women need to take the time to regularly examine their breasts – as just a few minutes once a month could save your life. She is so right. I do my BSE every day in the shower!
