Glittery Gloss for the Holidays!

Is there anything better than a glittery gloss for the holidays?  Truly, it is the one thing you can easily change in your makeup routine. Lip gloss with glitter or shimmer - anything to light up your face via your lips with a simple swipe of the wand or squeeze of a tube - heaven.

My favorite new lipsglosses that will help you shimmer and sparkle your way to and through the holidays:

MAC Viva Glamorous.

It is so wonderful that MAC has incorporated their charitable Viva Glam line with the holidays, broadening their contribution. Just look at their entries this year.

This year, Viva Glamorous features two beautiful compacts in their red cases embellished with their Royal Crown. There are two palettes, one in cool tones, one in warm. The cool palette features Viva Glam II and IV Lipsticks, and Viva Glam VI Gloss. The warm palette features Viva Glam V and VI Lipsticks, and Viva Glam V Gloss. Like all of the Viva Glam products, every cent goes to MAC's AIDS fund. Each palette sells for $22.50.

I say, Viva Gorgeous!

Beth Bender Beauty for Breast Cancer Awareness.

I am always truly amazed at the generosity of people when it comes to Breast Cancer Awareness month. The products and sets that are brought to life months in advance, and the business' that decide to give a portion of their entire month's sales amazes me sometimes even more.

bca_bbb.jpgOne such site that is donating 15% of all sales to the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund is Beth Bender Beauty. Not only will she donate 15% of the sales, every person who orders during the month of October will receive a "Paint the Town Pink" lip gloss. Really, there is no better time to order now.

Remember the Get in Line Kit I wrote about last month that helps any women, no matter how makeup savvy or not, create the perfect cat or smoky eye? Now would be the perfect time to try that.  $5.60 of your purchase will benefit the all  important breast cancer research, and you will get that pretty Paint the Town Pink too. Did I mention how beautiful her hand painted containers are? So pretty!!! I think I need to get on over to the site to see what else I need. Her mineral makeup powders and blushes look amazing.
