Lancôme's Maharani Jewels - The Fall Collection.

Another Fall Collection, this one takes us from Summer to Fall effortlessly. Lancôme opened it's first store in India last year and this collection brings us the colors and sights that India is noted for. The shades range from deeply colored and spicy, brightly jeweled, to the gorgeous natural hues of the landscape. Beautiful! This is the Lancôme's Maharani Jewels collection.

The star product of the collection has to be this bronzer, Poudre Elephant Teint. As the elephant is an iconic symbol in India, it signifies royalty and internal strength.

This is the perfect product to achieve a gorgeous glow. Look at how the elephant is embossed in the powder of this new limited-edition bronzer. This is almost to pretty to put a brush to!

Next up is the Le Crayon Khôl Kajal and the Maharani Color Design Eye Shadow Quad. The raw and natural tones found throughout India’s countryside are seen in the Lotus Splendor palette with its earthy brown, peach and copper eye shadows, while the Secrets of Benghal palette features soft pink, dusty mauve, eggplant and highlighting shadows. Paired with Le Crayon Khôl Kajal in India Ink, the combination of shadow and dark liner work in harmony to create a sultry, intense eye look.

Finally, there are three new exclusive Juicy Tubes. Inspired by the intricate motifs of Mehndi art, these Juicy Tubes are embellished with a golden design of scallop lines, dots, teardrops and paisley shapes. Shades range from Mango Mystere to Guava Enchantment and Autumn Jasmine. Beautiful!

I can see myself wearing all of these shades very easily.  And while the bronzer is beautiful, the more I look at the collection, I think that I want the shadows even more.

Maharani Jewels just debuted online this week and if it is not on your local Lancôme counter yet, it will be any day now.

The Best Summer Scent EVER - LAVANILA Vanilla Coconut.

While I very rarely talk about fragrances here, that is Cindi’s job over on The Fragrance Fanatic now, I have to take a moment to share my love for my new scent. With my husbands approval, no less.

lavanila_spray.jpgLAVANILA Vanilla Coconut is the best, and most beautiful Summer fragrance. Evah! Talk about being transported to a tropical paradise with a single spray. Before talking about LAVANILA and the Vanilla Coconut scent, I must avert your attention to the first thing I noticed about this product. The packaging.

The packaging alone features such intricate cut-out’s that the outer boxes are collector worthy alone. I wish the inner box was a clear sleeve so I could display it in my bathroom. It is that gorgeous. But the box alone on my vanity will do. Beautiful! And the colors of this box are a beautiful teal blue and brown - the colors of my soon to be completed master suite. I might just even be bringing in the box for this color of blue to be matched for some trim work I am doing on mirrors and frames. Truly, again I have to say this - beautiful! The rest of the LAVANILA  collection features all different types of boxes, in the most beautiful color’s based with brown. And from what I have seen so far, they all feature different cut-outs. I can only imagine the packaging costs - but this really makes for a more luxurious brand.

“Breaking beauty boundaries with the world's premier healthy fragrance, LAVANILA is the first to fuse luxury fragrance with natural science. Their sensual vanilla blends captivate the senses and nurture the skin thanks to a healthy dose of pure essential oils, active botanicals, and antioxidants. Infused with everything that's good for you and absolutely nothing that's not, LAVANILA is changing the way we spray.

The Vanilla Coconut scent is tropical. Beautiful. Heavenly. Reminds me of the beach, but not in a beachy way. It is more like a beautiful, flower lined street with Palm Trees waving above, with the beach there at the end. It has an oriental yet a warm floral sent is felt.  It smells slightly of coconut, with hints of monoi Tiare (a Tahitian white flower), and a warm base of Madagascar vanilla bean. The other notes in this scent include heliotrope and sandalwood.

I will be rounding out this fragrance addiction with the Vanilla Coconut Body Butter ($25), and can you image this - a Vanilla Coconut Healthy Lip Shine ($14). I am sure I will be licking my lips all day. The 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum Spray that I am using sells for $56.

Turn Up the Heat with LORAC's Hollywood Heat Set.

I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek at my brand spanking new local Sephora. I am so thrilled that the beauty authority will be just about 10 minutes from me, which is much better than the one I had to travel to that is almost a 1/2 hour away. As I got my peek, one of the gals setting up the store was putting out this set from LORAC that I just need.

lorac_hollywood_heat.jpg

Unfortunately, I was not able to purchase this or anything else as the store is not yet officially open.  But let me say that this Hollywood Heat Set is at the top of my list.

The beautiful bronzed bag contains the following LORAC poroducts:
Bronze Bombshell Eye Shadow Trio
Hot & Spicy Blush/Bronzer Duo
TANtalizer Body Bronzing Luminizer
Mocktail Flavored Lip Gloss in Tropical Dream

As I am already in love with TANtalizer, so I know this travel sized tube will come in handy. I use this super sweet smelling bronzy lotion on my legs whenever I am dressed up a bit in the Summer. The lotion leaves my legs a little more bronzed and glowy, with a beautiful sheen. The shadows look divine for they are perfect for a bronzed Summer look without looking overdone or too made up. I cannot wait to try the blush and bronzer duo either. - they look to be my perfect shades. And, any lip gloss addict has to want that Mocktail Lip Gloss - and that includes me. Doesn't Tropical Dreamy look and sound, well, dreamy?

This set is exclusive to Sephora, so that is where you need to pick up the set. It sells for $35, which is a great price for these beauties.
