For the Manicured Mom.

My Mother drives me insane when it comes to nail care. She ONLY gets pedicures in the Summer, and never even had a manicure. I sometimes wonder where I came from!!!

Just in case your Mom is different than mine and loves to pamper her nails, I have found a real treat for her.

essie_spring.jpgThis is Essie's new Spring Collection called Starting Over, $45. In this set has is complete set of new colors:

E-Nuff Is E-Nuff - a cherry red
My Way - sheer baby pink
Pinking Up The Pieces - iridescent pink
Read-Y Set Ex - orange red
Starter Wife - sheer pink
Wife Goes On - true red

P.S. Don't let her think you are insinuating anything with the name of the collection or shade names.

Essie's '07 Spring Collection.

Oooh, How I love Essie.  This has got to be one of the best collections Essie has put out yet. There is not a single color I would not use.

essie_spring.jpgThe best way to get all of the great shades (at a small discount to boot) is in the Spring '07 Colours To Go .

The shades in the collection, which are naturally included in this set: Cool-lots, Guchi Muchi Puchi, Jackie Oh My, Mini How High, Mod Squad and Pinkadelic.

And you know what I love even more - is that Essie has done a major website over haul, and there is an online boutique to shop right then and there for your favorite Essie products.

Paint Yourself Pink!

Pink makeup = romantic makeup. And wouldn't it be nice to wear your romatic makeup on Valentines Day?

I am lucky to be fair skinned in which most pinks look nice on me. I prefer the soft pastel pinks, but I like just about any type of pink makeup. If you are not that into Pinks, take a few of my suggestions, and I bet I change your mind.

piink_lipgloss.jpgSephora has a cute line of products, entitled appropriately enough, Piink. And like they say, "The best things in life are pink". I love this lip gloss crayon ($5) in the line, especially in Milky Rose - the most beautiful shade of rose petal pink. It's ease of use in that is glides on like a lipstick out of it's chubby stick but it looks sheer and glossy and low price tag are a huge plus! I also like to use their My Miistic Shadow ($9) in Tender Pink, which is a loose powder eyeshadow in pink with a hint of gold. It is in the cutest container that you dip the sponge tipped applicator into to get to the shadow.

For blushing in pink, I have a few favorites.
