The Beauty Award Winners.

I did not get to attend this year, but there is nothing better then the CEW Beauty Awards if you are a beauty enthusiast like me.

“The CEW Beauty Awards are the only product awards voted on by beauty insiders – CEW’s 4,000+ members who live and breathe this industry. Their combined expertise is a powerful recommendation to consumers looking for the best-in-class,” said CEW president Carlotta Jacobson.

The nominations included 621 products in 32 categories. Oh, where to begin!

All About the Brows, baby!

anastasia.jpgFrom Anastasia Beverly Hills comes the All About Brows kit - made exclusively for Sephora. I was thrilled to finally try this out.

I have been a fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills - the queen of eyebrows - for a few years now. Her tweezers are the best. Gosh, I use them almost everyday.

Well, this set has 6 great tools to groom even the hairiest of brows, including my favorite tweezers. It also has a Brow Powder Duo, four Brow Stencils, a Duo Angle/Spooley Brush, a Brow Gel, and an Eye Lights highlighting pencil.

Tarte with Heart.

Now this is what I call heart!

bca_tarte.jpgTarte Cosmetics is donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of their "Pretty in Pink" items. And what do I mean by items? I mean they are donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of not one, not two - but 5 different products! How nice are they?

They are contributing the proceeds to the Young Survival Coalition, a support network for women under 40 living with breast cancer.

And during the month too, they will feature a guest columnist, Maurey Lancaster, discuss her experience as a breast cancer survivor. She’ll blog about her diagnosis and chemotherapy experience, offer helpful beauty tips for those undergoing treatments, and most importantly she’ll give women of all ages a sense of hope. Be sure to stop by and read her words of wisdom and inspiration.
