Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar.

I think I am the last person to have tried an Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) Lip Tar. Now that it has finally launched at Sephora and is available to the masses, I figured I better finally give one a shot.

Let's just say that I couldn't be more pleased and am making my list of must have colors now. This is the most pigmented lip product I have ever tired.  Al I need is just a tiny, as in the size of a pin head, of this liquid wonder that leaves lips drenched in beautiful color. It comes out like a liquid but spread on and gets thick as it is spread over lips. I just use my fingertips for the ultimate control, but I suppose you could use a lip brush too.

This Lip Tar is in the color Nylon, which was named for the magaine that recently names Lip Tar the best lipstick of 2012.

OCC offers Lip Tar in a huge range of 35 shades on their own website occmakeup.com. From nude to coral, to red and my first shade Nylon, the classic bubblegum pink with a neon twist shade, there is one that you need to try. Each Lip Tar sells for $15.00, while Nylon is selling for $16.00.

Fall 2012: Shiseido.

This fall, Shiseido is celebrating a huge milestone. They are celebrating their 140th Anniversary! Can you imagine? This luxe Japanese brand has been around and thrived for 140 years. That is an amazing accomplishment. This fall, Shiseido has three launches, with one being a very special limited edition product just for this anniversary.

Shiseido Limited Edition Camellia Compact - $36.00

This very special launch is the limited edition Camellia Compact. This beautiful tri-colored face powder is beautiful and has been on my cheeks a lot this fall. The compact contains a shimmering petal pink, a rich rose, and platinum white. I love swirling a large blush brush all over the palette and blend it on over my cheeks. The result is a beautiful, deep rosey glow.

Shiseido Lacquer Rouge - $25.00

This rich liquid lip color was created by Shiseido Artistic Director, Dick Page. Just one swipe leaves lips beautifully polished. It comes in eight beautiful shades. The shade Camel is pictured.

Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation - $45.00

This new foundation is very thick, rich and offers full coverage. It uses light-reflecting photography properties to illuminate and fill shadows. I love the way my skin looks as I wear it. It looks even and very bright. I was worried this would really settle into my lines as it is a thicker formula, but I don't need to as it glided right over them and never settled. My skin looked perfect right after applying and lasted looking this way for a few hours. By the end of the day, the coverage was not as full as it was after applying. My skin still looked nice, just not as nice as it did for the first few hours of wear. For this reason, I think I'd stick to using this for just special occasions where I wouldn't need all day wear.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation Review & Photos.

The ultimate in ultra definition, with a no makeup yet perfected look, this new Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation is becoming a fast favorite amongst just about everyone I know who has tried it. I am no exception. I am head over heels for this foundation and how it beautifies my skin.

Naked Skin Foundation is a liquid foundation that provides medium to full coverage. It's buildable, so you can easily adjust the coverage to meet your skins needs. The texture is super lightweight as it blends over skin. It feels like I am not wearing foundation at all, which is such a freeing feeling.

The finish is a demi-matte look in which light-diffusing spheres blur fine lines and wrinkles to make me look a bit retouched. The state-of-the-art formula is also infused with beneficial ingredients that nourish and boost the skin’s health from the inside out. Anti-wrinkle and lifting peptides restore and maintain skin’s youthful appearance by increasing elasticity, while antioxidants such as Green Tea and Vitamin E neutralize free-radicals and promote collagen production for smooth and supple skin.

I find that the best way to apply it is with the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush. I pump one pump of the foundation onto the back of my hand, and dab the brush into it. I apply it to my skin with buffing, circular motions. Be careful not to streak it over the skin, you want to buff it into the skin for the ultimate look.

With a broad range of 18 easy to match shades, there is one for everyone. Don't let the color in the tube be your guide. When I received my samples which are shades 3.0 and 3.5, I thought they were too dark for me. In fact, they are too light for me right now. I'm sure one will be perfect for winter. Right now, my perfect match is 5.5, and I would have never guessed that from just looking at the containers. I suggest testing a few shades on the jawline. When you find one that blends into your face and neck, you have your match.
