Holiday 2012: M∙A∙C Guilty Passions 4 Nicely Nude Lip Gloss.

This beautiful set of four lipglosses is part of the M∙A∙C Guilty Passions set for Holiday 2012. This is the Nicely Nude Lip Gloss set.

The set comes in a miniature hat box, with a beautiful hard plastic bow on the top. I am dying over the packing in this collection. M∙A∙C has outdone themselves this year as far as design goes. Inside the box are four glosses, embossed with a bow tie on the front of the gloss tube.

Holiday 2012: NARS Andy Warhol Makeup Collection.

Makeup Wars: My Favorite Mascara.

This week in Makeup Wars, we are talking about mascara. Our favorite mascara.  This is a tough one for me.  I swear my favorite mascara changes every month.

I try so many and I still buy so many, trying to find the perfect one. So I am going to go with my current favorite mascara. In fact, I have used this mascara more than any other for the past three months. Thus I am declaring my favorite mascara Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara.

I got a Hypnôse Star sample as a Sephora 100 point perk toward the end of the summer.

Just looking at the brush, I knew it was different. Notice that one side of the brush round, and the other side is flat and straight.

I like to wiggle the flat side into the base of my lashes. It lifts them and helps form the curl upward as it is applied. And volume? Wow! I use the rounded side to comb through the lashes. As I brush it on, lashes are lengthened and defined. I find them almost wispy looking, and I love it.

The overall finish is a beautiful glossy black, with no clumping, flaking or smudging. My lashes look long, thick and great all day. It is easily removed with just a makeup wipe or eye makeup remover (before cleansing) at night.

Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara comes in just one shade of black and retails for $28.00. It was originally a Sephora exclusive and is supposed to be available at Lancôme counters, but when I checked over the weekend, it still wasn't at my local counter yet.
