Warrior Princess Halloween Look

  • Spritz alternating two-inch sections of hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Hairspray and loosely curl with a curling iron. Start at mid-strand, leaving the ends out.
  • Apply Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Extreme SMOOTH Combing Crème through waves and brush from mid-strand to end to leave hair full.
  • Starting two-inches from your hairline braid a one-inch section of hair and secure with an elastic band.  Repeat to form two braids on each side of your face. If you’re comfortable with forming braids, add one larger French braid.
  • Join braids at the back of your head with an elastic.
  • Prep skin with moisturizer, then apply COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation with a foundation brush for even coverage. Set with pressed powder. Dust on bronzer for a sun kissed look.
  • Apply COVERGIRL Lipslicks Smoochies Lip Balm in Be Sweet on your lips and the apples of your cheeks for a natural, all-over flush.
  • Define and fill in brows with a brow pencil several shades darker than your natural brow color.
  • Lightly sweep bronzer across eyelids and in the crease for definition and finish with COVERGIRL Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara.

The Gatsby Look for Halloween

How to Get the Look

  • Spritz a two-inch section of hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Hairspray.  Using a one-inch barrel curling iron, curl the section away from your face.
  • Gently slide curl off the iron so it holds the shape of the barrel, and pin. Repeat over entire head. Let curls set for at least 30 minutes.
  • While curls set, prep skin with moisturizer, and then apply COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation with a foundation brush for even coverage. Set with pressed powder.
  • Dust cheekbones with bronzer for definition, then apply rosy-pink blush to the apples of cheeks.
  • Use bronzer and pressed powder to create a neutral smoky eye. Sweep pressed powder over the entire lid and blend bronzer in the crease.
  • Apply COVERGIRL Ink It! By Perfect Point Plus in Black eyeliner to upper and lower lashlines, extending the line slightly beyond the outer corners of eyes. Coat top and bottom lashes generously with mascara.
  • Finish with a red lipstick like COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lip Color in Hot and layer with COVERGIRL Lipslicks Smoochies Lip Balm in Tweet Me for a glossy look.
  • Release curls and brush to create subtle waves. Smooth flyaways with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Extreme SMOOTH Combing Crème.

Obsessed with Classic Colors.

I'm obsessed with color this fall. Not over the top colors or anything wild; I like classic colors. I keep using the same few classic shades as accents in not only my fashion items, but in my makeup and nail colors too. I'm obsessed with white, blue and gray. Classic colors are definitely for me this fall.

To further draw upon, inspire and keep all of my color choices straight, I have created some eBay collections on these classic shades. I like being able to organize my color finds into Collections.

Feeliing Blue items such as my favorite blue nail polishes that I love to paint on my nails when I carry my stylish blue woven handbag.  I also like to accent an otherwise boring outfit with a pop of blue by way of a chunky bejeweled blue necklace and earrings or finish it off with a pair of blue suede ballet flats. Of course, a smooth blue khol liner is a great way to add drama to an otherwise boring smoky eye.

Go Gray! is all about my greatest obsession with everything gray. It was a huge color for fall last year and it has carried to this year as well. From my favorite fall scarf to endless pots of gray shadows (I have so many and need so many more), gray is still a super hot shade this season. My favorite way to wear gray is on my nails; I love a gray sparkly accent nail. I have a few of those nail polish picks in this collection.

White Hot! is unexpected for fall and winter because it is white, but I wear white all year round and love it. My White HOT! collection includes my favorite white skinnies and sunnies, white accessories such as a white phone case, a big white bib necklace, an infinity scarf and white nail polish. White nail polish was really on trend this summer, but I will keep it around for nail art and glitter top coats this season too. One of my best kept makeup secrets uses a white makeup product that is in this collection as well. I use a white eyeliner on the inner rim of my eyes (the lower waterline) to open up and brighten my eyes.
