Great Gifts: Clinique Happy Heart Collection.

Again this holiday season, Clinique is continuing its partnership with the Happy Hearts Fund, an international charity founded by model Petra Nemcova. This years beautiful “gifts with purpose” are adorable!

This is the second partnership for Clinique and the Happy Hearts Fund and this year is even bigger. Clinique is offering a limited edition Happy Heart fragrance ($37.00); a Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins in Happy ($12.50); and a chic, custom T-shirt that boasts the message “Make Someone Happy ($16.00).”  A portion of each product sale will be donated directly to the Happy Hearts Fund to rebuild schools in areas affected by natural disasters.

Clinique Happy Heart Collection

The limited edition Happy Heart fragrance is a scent that is both bright and floral with hints of sweetness from mandarin orange and cassis mingled with soft floral notes of water lily, rose and geranium. Dry notes of sandalwood, musk and blondewood create a harmonious balance meant to linger and enrich the heart.

A Different Nail Enamel in Happy is a bright red-coral hue named after Clinique's loved fragrance, Happy Heart. It is the perfect color for the holiday season too.

The limited edition Happy Heart fragrance and A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins in Happy are available at Clinique counters and clinique.com. The “Make Someone Happy” T-shirt is available exclusively at Clinique.com.

Get the Look: Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Hair & Makeup.

For the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, 40 of the world’s most gorgeous women took to the runway for the sexiest night on earth. Makeup artist Dick Page and hair stylist Orlando Pita created an effortlessly sexy look that was all about enhancing the natural beauty of the Supermodels.

Below are the brush-by-brush steps on how to recreate the beauty look from the runway.

Get the Look: Step by step instructions to get the hair and makeup look worn on the models during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

MAKEUP

Face

For a fresh and flawless complexion, apply VS Makeup Tinted Moisturizer & Primer SPF 15 all over skin with a foundation brush—this creates a smooth and even canvas for makeup application.

Next, sweep VS Makeup Mineral Blush Duo in Starlet across the apples of the cheeks. Blend up to temples for a warm and natural-looking flush.

Eyes

Start by lightly defining the inner rims of eyes with VS Makeup Eye Liner in Dark Chocolate. Next, line the top lash line with the same pencil and use the smudger end to blend the line upward and out.

Pro Tip: Make sure there are no sharp lines; keeping the eye liner soft, blended and diffused creates a smoky effect that makes the eyes pop.

Using the VS Makeup Eye Shadow Quad in Eye Contact, apply the Highlight shade from the lash line up to the brow. Emphasize the inner corner and brow bone for an extra brightening effect. Next, sweep the dark brown

Crease shade in a “V” shape at the outer corner of the eye and blend well to create drama.  Dust the shimmery gold Lid shade across the inner half of the lid.

Pro Tip: Hold a tissue under the eye while applying eye shadow to catch any excess powder.

Apply VS Makeup Volume Plump Mascara to upper and lower lashes. Layer extra coats on the upper lashes for a more dramatic effect.

Lip

For a nude pout with a hint of shine, use your fingertip to pat on VS Makeup Color Drama Lipstick in Melt.

HAIR

Step 1
Apply VS So Sexy Style Body & Hold Volumizing Mousse from roots to ends of damp hair.  Section the hair and dry using the ghd air™ professional performance hairdryer and a ghd round brush.

Step 2
Starting at the nape, take a horizontal section of the hair and mist with VS So Sexy Style Hold & Finish Hairspray. Place two fingers at the root of the hair and wrap the hair around, tucking in the ends to create a pin curl around the fingers.

Step 3
Once the section is wrapped, gently remove your fingers.  Close the ghd tri-zone styler onto the pin curl, hold for about 5 seconds, letting the heat do its work, then remove the styler and pin.

Step 4
Repeat this technique through the hair.  Keep fingers straight at all times when wrapping the hair.

Step 5

Once cooled, release the curls from the pins.  To finish, mist hair with VS So Sexy Style Clean & Go Dry Shampoo or VS So Sexy Style Hold & Finish Hairspray, depending upon your hair texture or the amount of volume you want to create.  Use your hands, or a brush, to create your desired finish.

All products are available at Victoria's Secret.

Urban Decay Naked3 Palette Photos & Review.

The Urban Decay NAKED3 Palette was released a few weeks ago, and I finally got my hands on one yesterday! I was so excited to share that I took some photos and have my thoughts for you already. In one word, this romantic rose-based eyeshadow palette is stunning.

You are going to want to grab this palette when you can. The shadows are very long wearing, glide on with ease and blend very well. They are made with Urban Decay's Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.

The shade line up:

STRANGE – pale neutral pink matte-satin
DUST – pale metallic pink shimmer with iridescent micro-glitter
BURNOUT – light pinky-peach satin
LIMIT – light dusty rose matte
BUZZ – metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter
TRICK – light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal micro-sparkle
NOONER – medium pinky-brown matte
LIAR – medium metallic mauve shimmer
FACTORY – pinky-brown satin
MUGSHOT – metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift
DARKSIDE – deep taupe-mauve satin
BLACKHEART – smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle

Urban Decay NAKED3 Swatches

NAKED3 also includes a NEW double-ended Good Karma Shadow and Blending Brush AND an Eyeshadow Primer Potion sampler with resealable samples of all four formulas (original, Sin, Eden and NEW anti-aging). Each sample holds about a week’s worth of primer!

Overall I am a fan of the NAKED3 palette and the rose hued shades. I can see myself using most of the shades except Blackheart because the red glitter scares me, (though I might try it as a liner) the rest of the shades are really stunning. The majority of these shades really will be flattering on most, if not all skin tones. I can see an endless amount of looks being created with these shades. The five lighter shades that I have pictured below are my definite favorite, and I will be using them the most, I am sure. The darker shades like Factory, Mugshot and Darkside are amazing in the crease and Liar is going to be my new go to lid color.
