Super Sizes and Sales at Sephora.

I went into Sephora yesterday to pick up a few necessities, and there were two things I noticed.

First, there were some great reduced specialty items, like special sets created just for Christmas.

Upon further investigation, it seems that most of these special sale items plus more are not only on sale st Sephora.com, but when shopping before 1/1/2011, you can get an extra 20% off when using the code EXTRA at checkout. The discount does not work in store, so I suggest shopping online to rack up the savings.

Second, I noticed some great super sizes of some of their more popular items. I picked up a huge tub of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream for $39.00.

For overly dry skin, this cream is a must. I slather it on my hands and feet before bed and cover with cotton socks for the ultimate skin savior. To use on the rest of my body, I rub a bit of this cream in between my fingers to thin it out, and apply it to my freshly showered skin, before I dry off.

There were also some super sizes of many of the popular Philosophy items, such as Purity Made Simple, Hope in a Jar and The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. Some other note able super sizes include Living Proof hair care items, a lot of the Bliss products, and primers from Smashbox, Laura Mercier and Urban Decay.
