Matte lips seem to be all the rage these days, but matte is a big trend in the entire world of makeup. There are matte products for eyes, lips, face and cheeks. These matte makeup products are must-haves for the summer months, especially for those that are trying to ban (or hide) the sweat or combat an oily complexion.

I've tried quite a few matte makeup products over the years and want to share a list of my favorite matte makeup must-haves to help you get through the summer looking fresh and fab.

I have never found a MAC mascara that I've truly been obsessed with. I've kept a few in my makeup bag until something better has come along, but nothing has ever knocked my socks off. I'm okay with it because MAC is constantly pushing the envelope with countless other products. I digress. When I heard of this new mascara I knew it was a game changer and once you see the new MAC Pro Beyond Twisted Lash you will totally understand why.

I finally have my hands on the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Eye Palette and Lipsticks and as promised, I have photos and thoughts on the new makeup collection.

Teaming up with Disney for the movie that hits theaters later this month on May 27th, my first thoughts are that the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Palette is a must have, as are a lipstick or two. If you are a makeup collector or Disney fan, then you will want it all.
