Inspiration:
Kara’s inspiration for the look was Jessica's coloring and her white gown.  “I wanted to keep it simple and bright in the corals and neutral tones,” said Bua.

How-To:
“I started Jessica’s look by applying CHANEL Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 in Beige-Sable to her face, setting it with CHANEL Natural Finished Pressed Powder in Natural, and adding CHANEL Powder Blush in In Love to the cheeks for a healthy glow.  I wanted to focus on popping the eyes with brown and taupe shades…I defined the eyes with the deep warm brown and taupe colors from the CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Prelude, and applied the shimmery gold/champagne shades as highlights on the lid. I then added CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir on the top lashes and CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Brun on lower lashes for a more natural effect.  And finished the look with the fresh looking Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lip Colour in Paradis.  Healthy beautiful skin and warm corals on the cheeks and lips keeps the look so fresh!”

Hair

Overall Inspiration: “We wanted Jessica’s hair to compliment the ‘bohemian luxury’ feel of her dress. I loved the idea of natural cascading waves against the backdrop of the dress’ backless silhouette. The overall look evokes a relaxed vibe while still remaining polished and sophisticated.”

Hair—Prep: “Jessica has a great head of hair, the texture is fine but she has a ton of it! I added extra volume and lift at the roots while maintaining the feather light feel.“
·         Apply Alterna Bamboo Volume Weightless Whipped Mousse all over damp hair, and Alterna Bamboo Volume Uplifting Root Blast to the roots. Blow dry using a large round brush, this smoothes the cuticle to ensure a polished result.
·         When hair is 95% dry give strands texture and wave with Alterna Bamboo Style Boho Waves Touseled Texture Mist and then finish with a rough dry using your fingers.

Hair—Style: “While creating Jessica’s waves my goal was to keep the look youthful and modern.”
·         Divide hair into 1” sections and create waves using a 1¼” curling iron. Alternate between wrapping and clamping sections to maintain the organic movement to the look.
·         Apply Alterna Bamboo Style Moldable Texture Paste to hands and using your fingers comb through the curls, tousling the strands as you go.

Finishing Touches:
·         Mist hair with Alterna Bamboo Smooth Anti-Humidity Hair Spray, the flexible hold formula will set the style, add healthy shine and lock out frizz.
·         Smooth pieces around the face with Alterna Bamboo Style Moldable Texture Paste

Get the Look: Debra Messing at the 2012 Golden Globes.

Celebrity makeup artist Jeannia Robinette created Debra Messing's look for the 69th annual Golden Globes using all tarte products.

Overall Inspiration: "Debra said she wanted knock-em-dead eyes. She wanted a super smoky dramatic look, so we made it all about glamorous eyes, and accentuated them with a shiny, natural nude gloss on the lips."

Makeup-complexion
To begin, Jeannia used tarte's Amazonian clay 12-hour full coverage foundation with Broad Spectrum SPF 15, applied with tarte's new airbrush finish bamboo foundation brush.
She added a touch of sheen with tarte's new maracuja blush & glow brightening luminizer and cheek tint in candlelight on the tops of her cheekbones and around her temples.
She then used Amazonian clay bronzer in park ave princess to contour on the hollows of the cheek.
Makeup-cheeks
To make her cheekbones pop, she used tarte's new Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in buff a warm nude with a touch of shimmer, on the apples of her cheeks and along her cheekbones.
Makeup-eyes
She lined the inner rims of the eyes with tarte's emphasEYES™ high-definition inner rim eyeliner black pencil.
Then she smudged smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner in golden black along the lash line, followed by smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner in olive, which added the perfect hint of green to complement her earrings.
She followed by tapping on Amazonian clay cream shadow in shimmering moss to set the look and strike the perfect balance of black and green.
For loads of volume and dramatic separation on her upper lashes, Jeannia used two coats of tarte's light, camera, lashes! clinically-proven mascara, which made her eyes pop.
She finished by swiping tarte's new the bright side double-ended eye brightener under her brow bones and in the very inner-corners of her eyes to add an instant brightening effect.

Makeup-lips
To complete Debra's sexy, Hollywood glam look, Jeannia filled her lips with tarte's LipSurgence™ lip luster in buff, then added major shine with tarte's new maracuja divine shine lip gloss in glisten.

Get the Look: Lea Michele at the 2012 Golden Globes.

Lea Michele's hair was created by Dove Celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend for this years Golden Globe Awards.

“Lea's Marchesa gown inspired me to create a romantic and sexy French twist with lots of texture,” said Mark.
-          “I started by applying a large dollop of the Dove® Style+Care™ Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse to her damp hair. I scrunched the hair with my hands as I blew the hair dry, encouraging her natural waves.”
-          “Next I sprayed Dove® Style+Care™ Thermal Replenishment Spray on 2-inch sections of hair and then wrapped each section around a 1-inch curling iron.”
-          “When all of the hair was curled, I sprayed loads of Oribe Dry Texture Spray all over and then gathered the hair into a French twist and secured with Bobby pins. My new favorite trick with updo's is to spray my hair pins with Dove® Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo before placing them in the hair, this creates a good kind of friction that keeps the pins from slipping.”
-          “I finished by spraying the Dove® Style+Care™ Strength & Shine Extra Hold Hairspray all over to keep her hair in place all night.”
