No More Lackluster Locks.

I got my hair cut (almost 6 inches cut off, and multiple layers added in) about a month ago. While I am finally used to the shorter hair, I can already see the damage I am doing by blow drying it everyday and even sometimes curling or straightening it. Add to that the root touch ups and highlights, my hair has been quite lackluster, if I say so myself.

gg_shine.jpg To my beauty closet I headed and immediately pulled out Shine Coconut Amla Revitalizing Hair Treatment from Global Goddess Beauty. Indian lovelies give themselves a weekly coconut oil scalp massage treatment, and Shalini Vadhera, creator of Global Goddess, recreated a similar formula, and has packaged it up for us.

The treatment is an extraordinary blend of Coconut, Amla, Henna, and Avocado, which are all naturally vitamin enriched oils, each with their own agenda for taking the guesswork out of luscious locks. It smells amazing, and a tiny bit, maybe the size of a pea, is all you need.

I was apprehensive to try a hair oil at first, but I don't think I could go without a weekly treatment of Shine anymore.  My hair is smooth, full of shine, and is extremely soft.

Shine hair treatment retails for $45, and is available at the Global Goddess website or Sephora.

$5,000 in Free Swag - Oh Yeah!

lucky_hayden.jpgA few weeks ago, the major television networks held the UpFronts. The Upfronts are where the networks announce their next years television schedule, with new shows, returning shows, etc. And many of the stars attend the announcements, parties, and fun.

Lucky Magazine had a suite at The Ritz Carlton where the celebs could come and hang out and relax - and pick up a free bag of swag - worth $5,000. And guess what? They are giving away one of these bags filled with the $5,000 worth of swag.

Hayden Panettiere picked up a bag, as did Ali Larter, Kate Walsh, and the now rehabbing Lindsay Lohan. We all deserve one, now don't we?

All you have to do is enter the contest here and hope to win:

I just entered, and now you should too.

Keep The Comments Coming!

c4acure_mug.JPGWith just less than 4 hours on the East Coast, and 7 on the West Coast, I really, really want to reach my goal.

My initial goal for the Comments for a Cure Campaign was to get 100 comments here, and 50 each on Aging Fabulous and Pretty by Nature. But with the clock ticking, I will take 200 comments, any way I can get them.

Here are the total comments as of this writing:
Beautiful Makeup Search - 69
Aging Fabulous - 21
Pretty by Nature - 29
TOTAL : 119

Can we do it, Yes we can! I only need 81 more comments between all three blogs.

And to make things even more fun, I will randomly pick one lucky commenter from each blog and give them a Comments For a Cure Coffee Mug. How great is that?

Please keep the comments coming. And once again, I thank you - and I won't ask any more!!!
