Jennifer Aniston Launches her Debut Fragrance.
/Jennifer Aniston evokes her earliest and most beloved recollections of scent in the creation of her debut fragrance, Jennifer Aniston, that recently launched exclusively at Sephora.com.

I am not a huge fan of celebrity fragrances. I love the good old fashion perfume houses. I realize that many celebrities do work with these fine fragrance houses, but a celebrity name alone does not make me a fan. With that said, I don't care whose name is on this new fragrance, because I would use it anyway. It intrigued me at Summer Evenings and Beach.
“I wanted this fragrance to be a personal library of scent memories. For example, my love of Night Blooming Jasmine has lasted a lifetime. Growing up in California, I distinctly remember the scent of the Jasmine on summer evenings,” comments Aniston.
The plant, known as ‘Queen of the Night ’, omits a heady and far-reaching scent and flourishes in tropical climates. Such places are close to Aniston’s heart and were a significant part of her childhood. Aniston also recalls her trips to Greece where she cultivated a love of beaches, water and the warmth and solace of the outdoors.
“I consider the scent of the ocean to be one of life’s most uplifting sensual experiences. No aroma is quite so purifying, humbling and exhilarating. The combination of the salty air and tropical oils reminds me of long sunny days on the beach – pure happiness,” comments Aniston.
Aniston enjoyed playing the role of alchemist, adjusting and refining the combination of notes for over a year in partnership with IFF. The debut fragrance exhibits top notes of Citrus Grove and Rose Water, middle notes of Blooming Jasmine, which she paired with Wild Violets and Amazon Lily; and finally, dry down notes include a Sensual Musk, Golden Amber and Sandalwood. Jennifer cites the distinct smell of wood fires at friends’ houses on summer evenings as an inspiration for the woody base notes.
The bottle is inspired by Jennifer’s love and appreciation of architecture. The design was part of the overall brand development, which David Lipman of Lipman was tasked with creating. The bottle references the flow of a Frank Gehry building combined with the fluidity and organic form of a cresting wave.

Jennifer Aniston Eau de Parfum is available in the following sizes: 1oz, 1.7oz, and 2.9oz and retails for $39.00, $55.00 and $70.00 respectively at Sephora.com.
Another reason that I fully support the launch of this celebrity fragrance is due to the fact that Jennifer is using her status to further support her charitable works. $1 of each Jennifer Aniston fragrance "LIKE" achieved on Sephora.com/Sephora's Facebook page will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
