Have You Voted in the MAC Originals Contest?

Have you been to the MAC Site to see the entries in the MAC Originals contest? I am blown away at some of the makeup looks that have been submitted.

You can view entries by newest submissions and the most popular.

I will be the first to say that I do not know how the most popular have all the points that they do, but hey, it's just my opinion!

The contest runs through the end of this month, January 31st, so if you want to submit a photo of yourself, you better get one in now. And if you do not want to enter, it is a definite must to check out the entries and vote for your favorite. I am narrowing down my choices, but as new submissions keep popping up, I may wait until closer to the end of the contest to place my vote.

N is for...

When thinking of the new N Collection for MAC, what do you think of - as in what do you think "N" stands for? Naked, Natural, Nude, Neutral. Well, they all apply!

This newest collection for MAC was used all over the runway last fall for the upcoming Spring/Summer season, and they looked amazing. I really can't wait to try them.

I will run down all of the products in the collection soon, but in the mean time, check out my favorite looks that were created and used backstage on the models at Fashion Week. They are definitely inspirational, and might help you make up your N Collection shopping list!

 

Moisturelush - New from MAC.

With a fresh scent and totally smooth, milky texture, this light cream which is more lotion like then cream like, almost immediately sinks into skin. My makeup did apply smoother and my face felt more moisturized instantly, as well.

Moisturelush Eye Cream - $30
A richly hydrating eye cream with optical effects. Rejuvenates, reconditions and refreshes. Visibly lifts and firms skin around the eyes: helps reduce early morning/late night puffiness and balance the skin’s moisture levels. Provides long-lasting moisture.

This is little darker in color than the cream, and it is definitely more of a heavy cream. This sinks into skin pretty quickly, and firms the skin around your eyes - to the point where it looks and feels smoother and tighter not long after it is applied. My concealer looked better than ever. This cream is truly amazing. I still used my regular eye cream right after my shower as there is usually some lag time before I get to applying makeup.
