MAC says Hello Kitty for a Very Special Collection.

There have been rumours about this collaboration between MAC Cosmetics and Sanrio for the Hello Kitty Collection and guess what? It is true.

According to WWD.com,

"MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with Sanrio Global Consumer Products to create a Hello Kitty color cosmetics collection.

The line will arrive on MAC’s Web site Feb. 10, in North American stores on Feb. 12 and into overseas stores in March.

“MAC has been mining pop culture since the brand was founded,” said John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. “This is a sexy and innocent fashion line, and a true MAC moment. In these times, everyone can use a little fun — and a little Kitty.” "

From the girl who decorated her bedroom in Hello Kitty as a young teen and decorated her daughters newborn nursery with more Hello Kitty paraphernalia than you can imagine, this is a dream come true for me. I love Hello Kitty and simply can.not.wait..

I saw this unique mascara in action last winter at Fashion Week and was so excited about it. Waiting these past 8 months or so has been so worth the wait. I was more than thrilled to see this new MAC mascara, which did not have a name back in February, available to us now. Dazzle Lash is the name, and your lashes will do just that - dazzle them.

MAC on the Set of Twilight - The Movie.

MAC Cosmetics is one of the most well-known brands behind the scenes of some of your favorite shows, television and movies. One of their latest projects is the film production of Twilight. Twilight is the highly anticipated, #1 New York Times Bestselling book series, brought to life in this movie.
